My friend Olivia Corin and I are talking all about feminism. Some of our thoughts and opinions are a little different than what the mainstream preaches and I think it's good to hear different perspectives. This can be a really touchy polarizing subject but we gotta talk about it. We'll talk about the pros and cons, our personal encounters with equality, and a lot more. So buckle up, because it's about to get wild.

Yesterday was a huge day for Odd Reform, we released our very first product - the 2022 Art Calendar. And so today I wanted to walk you through why this calendar is absolutely the coolest thing from the colors we chose, to the artists we worked with, to the subjects depicted in it, to how it really ties in to the mission behind who we are as a company. There was so much thought, intention, energy and talent put into this by so many people, which I think totally merits the spotlight for a bit.

Whether you're an established business, making a career pivot or just thinking of possibly starting, you absolutely NEED an email list.
Before I had one, the thought of making one ( whatever that meant) felt super intimidating and overwhelming. Plus I had this idea that no one really used email anymore? But holy crap, I couldn't of been more wrong.

Can authenticity ever be a bad thing? That's the question Addi and I are getting into today. We're gonna look at how authenticity may come across differently for different people, what cultural shift made us pivot so strongly towards it, and how it can be taken too far.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that quite a bit of people would not classify a lawyer or an engineer as creative. Although we won't be talking much about law or engineering today, I will be disproving the concept of that. And showing you that creativity is found in far more places than the arts. In fact, *plot twist*, sometimes artsy people aren't even creative at all. I know its crazy. But true.

You lean towards seeing life through a certain perspective, which sets up how you absorb and respond to things. Today we're looking at the perspective of time. I'm gonna break it up into past, present and future dwellers and you'll see that every person sees life through one of these phases. We'll see what each one looks like, their strengths and weakness and ultimately why we need all three!

No matter what you do or who you are, receiving constructive criticism is super hard to take. And even more, most people also don't know how to GIVE it. It's a huge avenue of growth that a lot of us miss out on because we get so awkward, weird and terrified of any type of criticism. We need to be able to articulate the difference between effective criticism and destructive criticism. So that's what we're gonna do today!

Trying new things can be THE WORST - a new project, a new skillset or just figuring something out that seems impossible. That sort of stuff often leaves us at a dead-end, paralyzed and feeling incapable which freaking sucks. But there is a cool part. And that is: it doesn't have to suck. I actually know you CAN do that thing you're thinking of right now. The biggest obstacle is your mindset and that's exactly what were addressing in today's episode. I'm gonna give you the 6 steps to go from "I can't" to "I can". Let's do this thing.

Too many of us see someone who's good at something and immediately dismiss and/or downplay that person's strength. However, when we step back and look at what long-term successful people have in common, they tend to all be CURIOUS about people who are better than them - not intimidated.
Today Addi and I are gonna tackle what perspectives are harmful and why. And most importantly, what to do instead. Freebie: http://bit.ly/oddreformfreebie Flodesk: https://flodesk.com/c/oddreform
