Connecticut is a well-known hotbed for Bigfoot encounters. And just last month, a story out of New London County made headlines when a witness claimed he saw an enormous, eight-foot-tall creature crossing a road near the Pachaug River in the early morning hours.

So this week, I'm taking a closer look at exactly what this driver says he saw while making his way home to Rhode Island—and I'll also explore some of the other strange encounters reported around Pachaug State Forest, Old Mystic Village, and Norwich.
