Staten Island is often called the forgotten borough of New York City, but its long history of spooky legends and odd folklore has not been forgotten by its residents. Richmond County has a rich tradition of ghost stories, haunted places, urban legends, UFO flaps, and even some Bigfoot sightings. But in this episode, I'm looking at a few of the more obscure tales from the borough of parks. First up is the Black Dog of Bulls Head, a spectral black beast the size of a horse with glowing red eyes that terrorized colonists at the Bulls Head Tavern long before the American Revolution, along with an enigmatic gentleman with glowing eyes, hooved feet, and a tail. Our next stop is the Rose and Crown Tavern of New Dorp, a popular gathering place for British Troops during the Revolutionary War, where they first read the Declaration of Independence, had bloody clashes with American patriots, planned the Battle of Brooklyn, and which was later claimed to be haunted. Finally is the tragedy of the Staten Island Ferry Disaster, in which a ferry boat carrying people to lower Manhattan was attacked by a mysterious creature with monstrous tentacles before being dragged down to the depths of New York Harbor. Or was it?

Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the country, but it's not too small to be home to one of the biggest cryptids. This week I'm looking at Bigfoot sightings in the Ocean State, and this New England gem has some very unique reports. There's a roadside crossing at night, but also multiple reports of a white Bigfoot being seen over the years and across Providence and Washington counties. Hunters, hikers, bicyclists, college students, and professors have all seen this white Sasquatch. Are they all imagining things? Or does a very unusual Bigfoot roam Rhode Island?

The Seattle Seahawks just won the Super Bowl, so in honor of their victory, this week I'm taking a look at Bigfoot sightings near Seattle! Located in King County, Washington, Seattle is the most populous city in the state, and the entire northwest region of the country. But not far outside the city limits, witnesses describe running into a large, hairy, humanoid figure. Sightings this week include Bigfoot road crossings, a lover's lane encounter with Sasquatch, a Bigfoot crossing through a man's backyard, hikers running into a Bigfoot stopping for a drink, and electrical workers spotting a pacing Bigfoot. I'm back in one of my favorite states this week, looking at Bigfoot encounters in Massachusetts! Berkshire County is known for its beautiful, scenic mountains, but also for UFO sightings, hauntings, and of course, Bigfoot sightings! Missouri has a long and legendary history of Bigfoot sightings within the state. The Missouri Monster, or MoMo, was made famous from well-publicized sightings in 1971, with witnesses describing a creature with a foul smell and a large head. So this week I'm looking at Bigfoot sightings in Taney County, home to the tourist city of Branson, Missouri! This is another audience member requested episode, and stories this week include road crossings just outside of Branson, two separate families having their property approached by Bigfoot in Forsyth, and two friends encounter a Sasquatch on a trail on the outskirts of Branson - and a juvenile creature seems to be tagging along! This week I'm taking a deep dive in to Bigfoot sightings in Texas! This was a fan requested episode, and as Texas is huge, these stories all come from Parker County, home to parts of Fort Worth! A couple walking on a bridge see Bigfoot splashing in the river below them; a man driving at night sees a Sasquatch crossing the road after stumbling; an oil field worker sees a Bigfoot and has rocks thrown at him; a gas field worker sees a Bigfoot with glowing eyes watching him from behind a fence; a young couple in a deserted lover's lane are approached by a limping Sasquatch; and a woman sees a Bigfoot picking things off a tree as she approaches her parents' home one evening.

Happy New Year! As we welcome in 2026, I wanted to focus on some of my favorite guests of 2025. Bigfoot encounters, UFO sightings, ghost stories, my cryptid countdown, and more! For Bigfoot sightings, we have Jeb Scruggs of Squatch Hunters International telling the story of a Bigfoot he and his wife encountered in New Hampshire; Josh from York, Pennsylvania recounting his experience with a possible Bigfoot in the woods near the fort he and his friends had built; and my buddy Josh Diaz retelling a story told to him by a friend where two men spotted what seemed to be baby or juvenile Sasquatch playing on a lonely road in the Mohawk Valley on New York one cold winter night.
