God hears our prayers no matter the hour that we pray them. He listens to us eagerly and rejoices in the prayers we bring before him. He views our prayers as Holy as sacrifices on the altar.

Many christians have encountered this verse before and asked themselves "have I done that?" and possibly even feared that they have.

God invites all of us to his banquet good and bad because oftentimes we don't know which of us is which until we see who isn't wearing the proper garments.

Due to my harsh message I've added some of the positive examples of what it means to be a "Good Samaritan" as well as bring closure to the sermon. In the first of a new segment where I'll add additional notes or random ideas to the sermon of the week, possibly answer questions or discuss random ideas or events. I hope this will add to the experience.

We can know all the right words and follow the law to the letter but if we don't do it out of love for God and our neighbor we're doing it for the wrong reasons.

Some people seek God until they find him. Others seek something to fill a void in their hearts that they realize only God can fill. God seeks both of them at the same time. The real dilemma is counting the cost once we've found the kingdom of God.

The father is willing to seek all of his lost children whether they be reckless prodigal sinful degenerates or self-righteous self absorbed pharisaical hypocrites and everyone in between.
