When was the last time it felt this good to know that your bond repayment will stay the same at the end of the month? The Reserve Bank left the repo rate unchanged yesterday and most of us are relieved.

Enough has been said about inflation and interest rates for one week so I will say more about the details of the policy statement on Monday. That's why I have two very different stories this morning.
