In an era of constant spotlight and perfect PR images, we decide to take a look back at a wilder time. We compare the crazy story of James Worthy arriving late to a game following a game day arrest to Marvin Barnes having to charter his own plane to make tip off after a night out. We also cover diners, becoming a minister, and a great 'Cuse Melo anecdote.

We've made it roughly a quarter of the way through the NBA season so we decided to give out some awards. Not "Who's MVP So Far" or "Most Surprising Team" but rather 6 categories based around Sports Movie characters. For example the "Gerry Bertier" award for the guy who if he got injured he would inspire his team to victory. Other topics include beating a cold, DUIs on an e-scooter, and not exercising.

After James Harden's most recent game (54 points, 13 assists, 11 TOs) we decided to look into just what the Turnover is in the NBA. Pace of play and ball dominant point guards are upping turnover numbers (looking at you Russel Westbrook), but you'd be surprised at who is atop the all time chart in TOs. Also, we recap Joe's HS reunion, Black Friday and a strange Concussion Protocol video that Joe had to watch in order to coach.

Kemba Walker's latest exploits of scoring 103 points over his last two games made us ask the question: How can we save Kemba from the vast wasteland that is the Charlotte Hornets?
