Tom goes over his career, from gaining a passion for sailing at a young age and having it intensified during the Sydney Olympics, through to the difficult days of training and maintaining his passion and narrowly missing out on a spot for the 2012 Olympics before his 2016 success. He also talks up his hopes for 2020 and his desire to try his hand at other sailing regattas in the future.

In this wide ranging interview, Kim discusses her career from an upcoming track and field star who used to give Jana Pitman a run for her money, right through to the day she realised she could no longer run and had to switch sports to achieve her goal of becoming an Olympian. Kim also details the emotions she felt through her three different Olympics, as well as detailing her close connections to Hobart and Tasmania and what the future holds for her moving towards 2020.

Excited to bring you another special interview episode of Off The Podium as we talk to one of Australia's most successful Winter Olympians in Lydia Lassila. The 2010 Olympic Gold medalist in the women's aerials, Lydia backed it up in 2014 with a bronze medal after becoming the first women in history to do the quad-twisting triple somersault. After a 'mini-retirement' post 2014, Lydia has returned to aerials in a push to become the first ever Australian female to compete in 5 Winter Olympics, as well as become the first ever Australian to win more than 2 Winter Olympic medals in their career. We speak to Lydia about her goals for 2018 and find out just how her comeback is going with only 12 months to the Olympics.
