WWE had a historic week in Mexico highlighted by a shock WWE Championship title victory for Sami Zayn, a TripleMania show over two nights, and a Monday Night Raw that could possible be the best Raw under Triple H.

Sami Zayn shocked CM Punk to become a two-time WWE Champion on SmackDown, but what happenes next, and will Sami Zayn really be holding the WWE Championship heading into Crown Jewel for a match with Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia? Speaking of Roman Reigns, he defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta on an incredible Raw from Mexico City, as both men delivered one of the best matches in all of WWE this year.

Stephanie Vaquer captured the WWE Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, and fans loses their minds over why WWE made this decision, and not at a PLE. El Grande Americano left AAA TripleMania as the new AAA Mega Champion on Night 2 in one of the best WWE shows they produced all year.

Also tonight, Ilja Dragunov is reportedly heading to AEW as expected. What could be the plans for one of the best wrestlers in the world joining AEW? WWE officials reportedly view Royce Keys as a future World Champion, Nick Khan claims WWE has the best creative in wrestling, that the creative plans for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh are already in place, and WWE continues exploring a potential partnership with Disney. We’ll also discuss the backstage reaction to Oba Femi brushing off Bronson Reed, plans to team Jordynne Grace with Ivy Nile, Will Ospreay revealing that his AEW All In main event with Kenny Omega was forced to use a last-minute alternate finish, and growing concern surrounding Keith Lee’s mysterious new direction outside the ring.

After weeks of telling everyone if he can't have it, no one will, Sami Zayn finally gets his WWE Championship Title rematch against CM Punk as WWE invades Mexico City for a huge weekend of shows, starting with SmackDown.

Sick of Zayn's meddling, Punk challenged Sami Zayn to a championship bout just moments after retaining the title against Johnny Gargano last week on SmackDown. Also, what's next for Cody Rhodes after he defeated HIMSEFL at Sunday Nights Main Event against Randy Orton?

After being medically cleared to compete under the condition that she continues to wear a protective facemask, Chelsea Green must put her Interim WWE Women's Championship on the line against Nia Jax. And, The War Raiders are set to defend the AAA Tag Team Title against former WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and R-Truth.

Jonathan Coachman and JDfromNY explain why Oba Femi, Bron Breakker and a transformed Bronson Reed could define WWE’s next generation after The Vision destroyed Oba at Sunday Night’s Main Event and WWE Raw. They also debate Paul Heyman’s growing influence, Royce Keys and OTM’s disastrous car-fire angle, Bron Breakker and Roxanne Perez as Money in the Bank favorites, and why Cody Rhodes must finally turn heel after losing to Randy Orton.

Plus, the troubled AEW All Out build for Will Ospreay vs Jon Moxley, whether Adam Copeland is nearing retirement, the Young Bucks, FTR, Copeland and Christian ladder war, WWE LFG releases, the state of WWE’s women’s division, and Jey Uso’s “we draw” response to Andrade’s comments about WWE’s treatment of Mexican wrestlers.

Coach and JD deliver unfiltered opinions, insider perspective and rapid-fire wrestling debate on this week’s episode of The Two Count.

It's a slow news week in the world of Pro Wrestling, and both AEW and WWE didn't do anything at all to make any of it exciting this week.

WWE held Sunday Night's Main Event in Atlanta, with Randy Orton taking on Cody Rhodes. Did WWE tease a heel turn for Cody Rhodes? What happens next with Randy Orton that he got the win over Cody? Also, Oba Femi and Bron Breakker battled for the "Future of WWE"...and Bronson Reed threw his name into that discussion Sunday night.

WWE is heading into Mexico City with two major World Championship matches next week. CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Sami Zayn, and Roman reigns defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Penta. CM Punk has awoken Johnny Gargano from his slumber after 6 months of laying on boxes. Jey Uso gets into with Andrade on social media over Mexican and Samoan talent. TKO Head Mark Shapiro claims the company "resized" talent contracts. NXT releases happened this week, mostly with Evolve and LFG talent. And Jon Moxley gets Will Ospreay at AEW ALL OUT in the weirdest way to announce a Main Event all year.

We also pay respects to Andy Williams, Bill Dundee, and Cody's Pharaoh who passed away this week.

It's Labor Day, and WWE decided to put very little effort into Monday Night Raw tonight for the holiday with a LAZY anti-climatic ending that was not only a waste of time but comical as well. Not the best way to showcase your new group battling the Bloodline.

Royce Key and OTM set fire to The Uso's "rental car", and Triple H thought it was some cinematic movie but all it was, was a waste of two hours. Also, the Money In The Bank Qualifiers for the Men, and Women began tonight. The Vision is back to full strength and once again take out Oba Femi.

And, Stephanie Vaquer tries to reclaim the WWE Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan in the Main Event.

With no PPV in the month of September, WWE is delivering a Sunday Night's Main Event with some huge matches, that carry some big implications heading into Money In The Bank in October.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are looking for a do over coming out of their WrestleMania match in Las Vegas this year that was ruined by Pat McAfee's involvement. The two battle for who is next in line at CM Punk, and the WWE Championship. Also, Oba Femi takes on Bron Breakker with the idea that the winner is undoubtedly the "Future of WWE" but what many people are not talking about is the possibility of one Bronson Reed making his return.

And, Baron Corbin gets 5 minutes with Li' Yachty, and if he survives, Trick Williams gets another shot at Baron Corbin for the WWE United States Championship.
