Officer Seen With Knee On George Floyd's Neck Charged With Murder

The officer in Floyd death charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Protests grow across the United States, after one officer was charged in Floyd's death. A Minneapolis county prosecutor who already charged one officer said, "I anticipate charges" for other officers. The criminal complaint said officers continued to restrain Floyd after he stopped moving, breathing and one found George Floyd had no pulse. The complaint also says that Floyd was non-responsive for almost three minutes before the officer's knee was removed from Floyd's neck.

Protesters throw water bottles at police and police use pepper spray as New York City protests turn violent. 

The preliminary autopsy report for George Floyd said that there are no physical findings supporting diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.

Protesters are marching to the White House over George Floyd's death. The White House is now on lockdown due to the protests. Trump denies knowing the racist origin of the phrase "when the looting starts, the shooting starts." He said, "I don't know where it came from." Trump says that he has spoken to George Floyd's family. 

A CNN reporter and crew were arrested by Minnesota police on love television. The Minnesota governor apologizes to the CNN team who were arrested on live television.
