Die Vrystaat Jeugorkes (FSYO) koester en ontwikkel die talent van jong musikante. Sluit by hulle aan terwyl hulle hul talent en harde werk ten toon stel in hul konsert op 6 September 2025.   • Van Potchefstroom na Londen, Jonel Scholtz se kuns op 'n wêreldverhoog
    Jonel Scholtz het in 1988 begin skilder terwyl sy op hoërskool was, saam met Louise Goudemond, 'n Amerikaanse kunstenaar wat spesialiseer in figuurlike werk en olieportrette. In 2025 het haar kuns haar weer eens 'n wêreldwye platform gegee. Jonel is gekies om haar kuns in te sluit in "Routines", 'n uitstalling in Londen onder die kuratorskap van Anne-Marie Bickerton en Marcus Jake. Dit is 'n samewerkingsuitstalling tussen twee Londense galerye en die uitstalling sal tot 20 September 2025 duur. Jonel woon in Potchefstroom waar sy ook kunsklasse bied en sy sluit aan by Yolanda Maartens in die OFM Art Beat om oor haar kuns te praat en ander kreatiewes te motiveer.   • Two powerhouse voices from the NWU return from London to Potchefstroom, with a shared love
    Kamohelo Tsotetsi and Segomotso Shupinyaneng are both alumni from the North West University Music Conservatory and have travelled all over the world with their incredible voices. They studied together and both spent time performing on stages in London. They fell in love with London and have decided to bring that love back to their home soil, Potchefstroom. ‘From London with love’ is on at the NG Church Vyfhoek on the 26th of August and tickets are available from Quicket.

  • Altviool en klavier – ‘n vennootskap van 39 jaar in “Journeys” uitvoering in Bloemfontein
    Journeys is 'n konsert wat die vele paaie wat ons loop, verken – deur eensaamheid, liefde, konflik, herinnering en afskeid. Hierdie intieme program van altviool en klavier verweef drie diep ekspressiewe werke: Sjostakowitsj se finale komposisie, die Altvioolsonate, geselekteerde liedere uit Schubert se Winterreise en uittreksels uit Prokofiev se Romeo en Juliet. Altviolis Jeanne-Louise Moolman en haar man, klavierspeler Piet Moolman, sluit by Yolanda Maartens aan in die OFM Kunsteklop om te gesels oor die uitvoering wat die 28ste Augustus plaasvind by die Odeion in Bloemfontein.     Die gedagte dat visuele kuns ‘n belegging en wonderlike geskenk is, is een van die redes hoekom die maandelikse kunsuitstalling by URTH in Bloemfontein, ontstaan het. Diandra Steenekamp van die Secret Artists’ Club sluit by Yolanda Maartens aan in die OFM Kunsteklop, om kunstenaars te nooi om hul werke ook te deel en om die publiek te nooi om hul te kom ondersteun.     Hierdie sanguitvoering, wat op 16 Augustus by die Odeion in Bloemfontein aangebied word, vier die kuns van sang regoor die wêreld en sluit werke van Duitsland, Frankryk, Finland, Noord- en Suid-Amerika, sowel as Suid-Afrika, in.     Dr Andrew Warburton joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to share his excitement regarding the program they are presenting during the 2025 NWU Concert Series. The eThekwini Piano trio was formed in February 2024 and they are looking forward to share their passion for music with Potchefstroom. ‘Chamber Conversations’ takes place on the 12th of August at the NG Church Vyfhoek while the Conservatorium is undergoing upgrades.
