Blessings and curses are choices. This phrase is known to so many but embraces so little. We allow ourselves to curse instead of bless. We choose to be negative instead of build up to make things better. It's the choice between two trees in the garden...life and destruction. Where are you reaching?

Once the bridge has been built, it's time to cross it and bring others across. We are empowered by the very ONE who gave us the bridge resources. Now it's about connecting with those who God has built the bridge to restore.

It's time to lay the planks down on the bridge. Where do we get them? How do we use them? 2/3 of the world's population does not claim Jesus, yet God tells us that the only way to Him is through Jesus. How are we going to respond to this truth?

Why are we here and what significance do we have in this huge world? It's important that we check the foundation of the bridge this week. How strong are our footers? Unless the foundation is Jesus, this bridge is going to collapse!

How did we get here? How did we get to the point of standing on one side of the canyon perfectly fine that others don't know how to join us? It's time we began to reach beyond the walls. It's time we reached beyond the latest event. It's time we understood that God is using us to bring people to Him. It's time to build a bridge.

Maybe it was a camp fire when you were growing up or a difficult situation in life where you promised Jesus that you would give everything to Him. How's that going for you? Jesus asks us for our whole life, not just a part. He's sacrifice driven instead of convenience driven. We all should be asking ourselves that question each day...and then lean on His amazing grace!

It was at the cross that Jesus became our everything. it was there that we saw our sins forgiven. It was there that we finally had a hope that would never fade. The blood of Jesus covers us as the final sacrifice ever needed...except our own sacrifice to make Him LORD over our lives.

So...you're a Jesus follower, right? Does anyone know? Do you understand that you are a piece of a great puzzle that fits God's plan perfectly? Then why do we spend so much time trying to fit into other puzzles?

Everything was created by Him and for Him. Doesn't that make us feel a little like we aren't here to be served, honored or privileged, but that we are here for Him?

When the world tries to tell you who or what is "everything", it it believable? In our social and political culture, it's easy for our world to forget that "Everything" is not a thing but a person. Not a figure but a deity. Not something that wavers, but is true from and for all time.
