The Samaritan woman at the well is an event well known in the church, but is there more than Jesus just checking in on a woman struggling through life? This isn't just a well that Jesus stumbled over. It was a well deeply strategized...enough that Jesus chose to go to it and not just by it!

"Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness..." So, what does that mean for us? What was really going on in the minds of the Jewish people during that time? How did they turn something amazing into something not so amazing? How do we do the same thing? Yup...lots of questions. This message has some answers!

John the Baptist was scandalous not because he dressed like a wild man, but because when he spoke of the Messiah, it stepped on the toes of many people! The Romans & the Jewish Leadership both had a bone to pick with this guy, but that didn't change his message. God was unfolding Jesus right in front of John and just as a baby in the womb of Elizabeth, he couldn't contain himself!

Peace is one of those things we all pray for in life. How can we really experience it, especially in the pain? How can we find any value in the things that hurt us so badly it seems unjust? God has an answer to that situation. We're going to explore it!

What are the things that break up your peace? Is it possible that we've allowed things to creep into our lives that are actually keeping us from finding peace? It's time to identify them and get back to the promised peace that comes from God!

What is your resolve? What is your motivation? A soldier has one motivation...to do what his/her enlisting officer asks. To be a soldier of Jesus can't be any different. So why do we get so confused in the process?

When God sent Jesus to earth, He had something specific in mind. Jesus replaced the tabernacle and allowed us direct access to God. God also revealed His glory to us in a way that literally has taken our breath away for those of us who follow Jesus.

So many times, God could have just ended it all, cut us off and started over. Well...He could have, but it literally would not have been who He is, and God can't be someone He's not...Thankfully! For God so loved the world... For God so loved You!

Is God a Chess Master who moves us at His whim and desire or does He actually give us the ability to decide & choose? Pastor John points out through scripture that God is all powerful and all mighty to be able to do make things happen the way He wants them to happen, but from the very beginning He chose to show us His power by giving us the ability to choose. He chose to will us instead of power over us giving us the power and the will to choose Him...or not.

John the Baptist was such an integral part of the Logos story and declared the real reason for Jesus coming. So much so, he tried to scream it inside the womb! How excited are we to proclaim Jesus? What is keeping us quiet when we know the Savior of the World?
