Is Christmas really when Jesus was born? The Apostle John seems to disagree! In fact, John believes that Jesus' timeline stretches across all time. What does that do to our Christmas celebrations?

When we truly look at our lives, we can recognize the things that we literally won't give up for God. Maybe it's an addiction. Maybe it's a vice. Maybe it's even our families. Is our "want" getting in the way of our following the God of all things? Is it possible that He could have something bigger for us than those things we cling to?

The words of Al Michaels' iconic call as the USA Hockey team defeated the USSR in 1980 are firmly planted in a whole generations minds: "Do you believe in miracles? YES!" While that was almost 35 years ago, the question remains. Do YOU believe in miracles? How we view miracles may very well be an indicator of who we believe God is and just how powerful we believe He really is in our lives.

During times of trauma and chaos it's easy to wonder where God is. Why are there times where it seems God is silent? How can evil look so victorious? Pastor John digs into that idea and where he lands may surprise you...or at least motivate you to get unstuck!

Sometimes it's difficult to understand that our part in this Salvation relationship with God isn't tied to how we can "make up" for our short comings. Yet, that was not only God's plan in Jesus, it was His way of freeing us from the doubt and guilt that will paralyze us.

Too many times we find ourselves stuck doing the same thing over and over. Worse off is that we're comfortable with it. That certainly wasn't the life God planned for us. Is it possible that God has something far more exciting for us? Not only is it possible, but it is true! Time to get out of the mud!

The final message in the Thud Series is the core of all our sin. It's the notion that we're just fine doing what we think is right. It's the thought that we are in control and don't need the extra help. It's the lies we tell ourselves that we're what is important. Pride. One word causing a whole lot of hurt...and separation from God.

There are many theories about what the unpardonable sin is. Some say misrepresenting the Spirit while others say it's cursing him. Is it possible that the real issue is how we ignore, turn away or literally say "NO" to the Spirit? How could that impact us & our relationship with God?

Are we the one or the nine? Do we respond to the mercy of Jesus by thanking him or ignoring him? It's more than making sure we write out a thank you card or send a text that says thanks, it's about our first response. Are we so grateful for the mercy of Jesus that we would seek him and thank him?

Anxiety is overwhelming at times. The Bible give us a clear thought of what God thinks about us and our fears. "Be anxious for nothing" or stop worrying, just give it over to God. I know...easier said than done, for sure!
