  • Full House: S6E21: Room For One More (Full House: Animal Antics Series)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I present to you the third entry in the Full House Animal Antics Series, with Full House S6E21: Room For One More, which aired on April 6, 1993 where we get to meet Scruffy the pot bellied pig.
In this episode Jesse discusses with Becky the possibility of having another baby, but he finds out he already has his hands full when one of the twins is sick, Joey's injured and Danny and the kids help with the radio show run from home while baby-sitting a neighbor's pet pig.
I had a fun time covering this episode and towards the end of the episode, I delve into some pot bellied pig care and talk about some famous pigs from tv, to movies and literature, pigs have definitely made a name for themselves in the world and some I'd say have rooted their way into our hearts and I'd say Scruffy as well has added his name to that list of pigs we will not soon forget.
Join me this Friday when i cover the last episode in the Full House Animal Antics Series, where we'll meet Shorty The Donkey in Full House S8E6: You Pet It, You Bought It, which aired on November 1994.
In this episode Michelle buys a donkey from the petting zoo.
Have a great week everyone and please continue to stay safe.

  • Full House: S2E1: Cutting It Close (In Honor Of John Stamos's "Uncle Jesse" Birthday)
    Hey Full House Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I have a Full House birthday dedicated episode to deliver to a Full House Cast member and of course that person is John Stamos who played "Uncle Jesse" or Jesse Katsopolis.
To celebrate I've chosen Full House S2E1: Cutting It Close, which aired on October 14, 1988.
In this episode after a pretend haircut gone wrong and a motorcycle accident that leaves Jesse with two broken arms, Stephanie is convinced she's a jinx.
I really thought Jodie Sweetin knocked it out of the park with her emotions this episode. She never fails to deliver when it comes to these type of scenes. I really felt her anxiety over thinking Jesse's motorcycle accident was her fault due to the cause and effect fallout of the pretend haircut gone wrong.
I felt so bad for her, and to be honest had no sympathy for Jesse due to his attitude. I get it, it's fine to feel angry, but what's not ok, is to blame a child for your own actions, Stephanie didn't cause the accident, Jesse's anger lead to that decision. I get we all make mistakes, even costly ones, and sometimes out of anger is when we make our worst mistakes.
Luckily and because this is a sitcom there are no lasting lingering trauma effects that Stephanie has to fight to overcome and her relationship with Uncle Jesse is as rock solid as ever.
One last thing about this episode, Danny and DJ kept telling Stephanie that Uncle Jesse's accident wasn't her fault, but honestly the only one that would help set her free of the guilt she was feeling was by Jesse saying those words to her.

  • Full House: S5E18: Too Much Monkey Business (Full House Animal Antics Series)
    Hey Full House Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I covered the 2nd episode in the Full House Animal Antics Series with Full House S5E18: Too Much Monkey Business, which aired on February 11, 1992, where we meet Ginger the Chimpanzee.
In this episode Danny's zoologist sister pays a visit with her pet chimpanzee and ends up falling for Joey while someone else ends up crushing on Jesse. Any guesses, who that might me?
I had a fun time with this episode, like I do with all the episodes. I absolutely adored Ginger, what a mischievous sweetheart.
The facials and hair color with DJ and Kimmy was cute and hilarious too.
Stephanie and Michelle with their Aunt Wendy's Nakata Bank had me cracking up.
I thought Joey and Wendy's love connection was cute but seemed a little rushed that they were able to jump back to their love hate relationship one minute and then they were making out the next, but then again with old memories stoking the embers causing quite a blaze and things heated up real quick between the two.

  • Full House S2E4 DJ's Very First Horse (Full House: Animal Antics Series)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I decided to cover Full House S2E4: DJ's Very First Horse, which aired on November 4, 1988 for the new Full House Series for
    August Animal Antics.
In this episode D.J. and Kimmy buy a horse. Jesse strikes out in his attempts to date Rebecca.
I had a fun time with this episode. In this episode, we have a very irresponsible stable hand who thinks it's totally fine to make business transactions with a twelve year old without parental permission, we also learn about cheese donuts (a cheese slice folded in half with a bite taken out), how CDs according to teens are better than cash, as well as a hairbrush and a unused math book can be used in lieu of $50 to pay for a horse's upkeep. Joey's chili is compared to the aroma of a horse as Danny takes a big whiff of (unbeknownst to him) a horse, as well as how a horse can go through three owners in the course of two weeks. Also a horse can be given more than one name, hense the name Buttercup for the tail that Stephanie owns. a different name for each body part. I'm surprised she didn't ask to own the mane.
I go through George Michael's song list and decide the horses in the stable would love his song "Careless Whisper" because of its adult contemporary mello feel and the saxophone. I could totally see the horses shaking their heads in time to the music.
Join me next week when I cover the next episode in the Animal Antics Series, Full House S5E18: Too Much Monkey Business, which aired on February 11, 1992. In this episode Danny's zoologist sister pays a visit with her pet chimpanzee.

  • Full House: S8E13: The Producer (In Honor Of Lori Loughlin's (Aunt Becky) Birthday)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, in honor of Full House/Fuller House Cast Member Lori Loughlin's Birthday, I'm covering Full House S8E13: The Producer, which aired on January 10, 1995.
In this episode Danny feels humiliated and quits when Rebecca is promoted to producer of the show.
I really enjoyed this episode as I do all the episodes when I cover them.
Danny's behavior towards Becky in this episode was absolutely deplorable. Just because she was made producer of Wake Up San Francisco over him.
That promotion should have been offered behind closed doors instead of in front of Danny and Michelle.
Joey's dealing with his childhood favorite snack Vanilla Weasels being discontinued, is a sad reminder to myself of all the favorite foods I've liked, that had a temporary shelf life. (R.I.P. Meijer Seafood Cheese Dip,( I still can't believe it's been 9 years since it disappeared).
DJ and Stephanie giving up sweets via bet, great idea for those needing something to give up for Lent. I once gave up pop (soda) for Lent, I went 3 months solid (haven't attempted a second time).
Jesse the disciplinarian of Nicky and Alex as well as surprise, surprise Danny and Becky (spoiler?)
Join me next week in August as I begin my new series Full House Animal Antics, to kick things off we have Full House S2E4: DJ's Very First Horse, which aired on November 4, 1988.

  • Full House: S5E20: Driving Miss DJ (A Just For Funzies Episode)
Happy Full House Friday Tanner Fans,
    (TRIGGER WARNING!!)
For the first maybe 10-15 Minutes of The Podcast Episode, you will hear occasional pounding or even a saw of some kind due to I was having my new floor put in my kitchen. Just giving you all a heads up.
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I decided to cover what I like to refer to as a Just For Funzies Podcast Episode and basically what that means is it's a random episode that I decided not to cover in one of my series of themed episodes, and that episode is Full House S5E20: Driving Miss DJ, which aired on February 25, 1992.
In this episode newly permitted D.J. is eager to get behind the wheel, but she must first go out with a licensed driver, and unfortunately, Danny and Jesse prove to be rigid teachers. Meanwhile, Stephanie delights in torturing an annoying Michelle.
I had a lot of fun with this episode, as I always do with the episodes of Full House and Fuller House. This episode in particular brought up memories of my high school summer driver's training days as well as my road test.
The mistakes I made, the fun I had during the Summer of 1998 driving around a orange cone filled parking lot with my at the time bestie, the amount of Powerade Mountain Berry Blast I discovered and drank, the fudging of my nighttime driving hours in my driving log and finally to the just barely passing my the skin of my nose (words from my road test instructor) road test in the Spring of 1999.
Also in reference to Jesse and Becky's family portrait, I talk about my embarrassing professional family photo taken for the church directory in the late 80's. (I'll post it on the podcast social media.)
I gotta give props to Joey on how he handled the Hairy Scary Monster Stephanie/Rita/Michelle Situation.
and lastly Danny was being so irrational with DJ, screaming in her ear, talking on trees on the other side of the parking lot, securing car litter bags and checking for stray cattle.
Let's get to Jesse's "feel it method" maybe a little too lax is all I'm sayin'.
I wish we could have seen her driving with Joey, I bet he would have been a good teacher and we really don't get to many Joey/DJ Scenes going forward in the series.
I also ponder what Danny would have been like teaching Stephanie and Michelle to drive also Jesse teaching Nicky and Alex, or how about this Nicky being taught by Jesse and Alex being taught by Becky. Kind of like the scenario from Season 5's Yours' Mine and Ours.
Join me next week when I cover the last Full/Fuller House cast member's birthday episode Lori Loughlin (Rebecca/Becky Donaldson-Katsopolis), Full House S8E13: The Producer, which aired on January 10, 1995.
In this episode Danny feels humiliated and quits when Rebecca is promoted to producer of the show.

  • Fuller House: S2E2: Mom Interference (In Honor Of Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller) Birthday)
    Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, in honor of Michael Campion's (Jackson Fuller) Birthday, I decided to cover Fuller House S2E2: Mom Interference, which aired on December 9,2016.
In this episode DJ and Jackson struggle over whether or not he should play football and what his reasons for wanting to play really may be. Then things get a little awkward when Steve and Matt bring "guests" and a "slightly older" date for DJ to game night at the Tanner-Fuller house. And Stephanie has to decide if she has feelings for a Gibbler!
I had so much fun covering this episode and hope you all enjoy it too!
Fernando using his plate Bacon Wrapped Bacon on a bed of Bacon to entice Max to break his vegetarian rule. I love how Max feeds a piece of bacon to Cosmo and has him lick his face and then Max calls it second hand bacon.
    Ha, Ha!
Jackson getting on the football team really makes me wonder if kids need parents permission to even try out for a team cause if not that sounds like a liability if they get hurt during tryouts.
I loved Steph and Jimmy together. They're so cute.
The late Alan Thicke as "Mike, here" was hilarious.
I loved how Kimmy interrogated Lola about Jackson.
    Tommy's first haircut. AWWW!!!
Join me next week for a random Full House episode, S5E20: Driving Miss DJ, which aired on February 25, 1992.
in this episode Newly permitted D.J. is eager to get behind the wheel, but she must first go out with a licensed driver, and unfortunately, Danny and Jesse prove to be rigid teachers. Meanwhile, Stephanie delights in torturing an annoying Michelle.
I had been waiting to get to this episode since last year and now feels like a great time.

  • Fuller House: S4E9: Perfect Sons (In Honor Of Juan Pablo Di Pace's (Fernando) Birthday)
    Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today in honor of Juan Pablo Di Pace's Birthday ( actual birthday on July 25) (Fernando) I decided to cover Fuller House S4E9: Perfect Sons, which aired on December 14, 2018.
Fernando's mother pays a surprise visit, so he presents that he Kimberly live here, have a baby and have D.J as her maid and Steve teaches Jackson how to drive. Max makes a memorable debut on "Wake Up San Francisco" when he got a B.
I really had a fun time covering this episode. I haven't watched it since it originally aired and forgot just how hilarious it was.
So many things going on in this episode, Max getting his first B and being heckled by his classmate Spencer during his debut on the Kiddie Korner Segment on Wake Up San Francisco,
Jackson being taught how to drive by Steve even though we don't get to see any driving.
Fernando's mother drops in for a surprise visit causing Fernando to come up with the lie of all lies saying he lives there in DJ's house while DJ is the maid. But I think worst of all is Kimmy lying and saying that the baby she's carrying is Fernando's and not Stephanie and Jimmy's.
I love how Matt comes to help Steve and Jackson out when Steve's car breaks down, but it turns out Steve is able to fix it by diagnosing the problem like it's a foot issue with his podiatry. Then they make steaks on the engine.
DJ and Danny tell Max it's ok to not be perfect all the time and to ease up on himself, this coming from the two biggest perfections in the Tannerverse.
I hope you enjoy the episode and come back next week when I covern Fuller House S2E2: Mom Interference, which aired on December 9, 2016 for Michael Campion's Birthday (Jackson Fuller).
In this episode It's a full house for game night when Steve and Matt bring uninvited guests. Jackson decides to join the football team.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy 4th Of July Tanner Fans,

Today, I covered Full House S6E8: The Play's The Thing, which aired on November 17, 1992.
In this episode Michelle thinks she's got the lead role of her first grade play in the bag when Jesse and Joey volunteer as directors and Stephanie signs on as choreographer. But when a more talented classmate auditions and the guys give the role to him, Michelle turns bitter. Meanwhile, Steve gets ticked off with DJ, who has gotten in the habit of speaking on his behalf.
I really had fun watching this episode and hope you enjoy listening to it.

  • Full House: S8E19: Taking The Plunge (In Honor Of Andrea Barber's Birthday)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, in honor of Andrea Barber's Birthday, I'm covering Full House S8E19: Taking The Plunge, which aired on February 28, 1995.
In this episode It's D.J. to the rescue when she learns that Kimmy plans to elope with her new boyfriend, hoping that marriage will solve all her problems. Joey gets an opportunity to meet the Queen of England.
This was a fun time covering this one, from DJ reeling from her rejection from Stanford, to our first official meeting of Dwayne, Kimmy's new boyfriend repeating his famous catch phrase "whatever" , to Joey's wacky adventure meeting the Queen of England, his supposed assassination attempt by camera "nobody move, I just gotta get one shot" (horrible choice of words, Joey) as he pulls out Michelle's camera like he's got a gun tucked away in his suit and finally to the create your own wedding with Kimmy and Dwayne dressing up as Friday the 13th, but honestly the officiate performing the ceremony looks like a mashup of the three big horror franchises of the 80's Freddy Krueger (the striped shirt), chainsaw (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and the mask (Friday The 13th or and this is because part of the mask has a piece missing towards the bottom, makes me think of Phantom Of The Opera).
I also found out you can have a Create Your Own Wedding Theme. Depending on what you want, they range from $700-$1300.
I also found instructions on what to do if you meet the Queen.
I was also thinking how cool it would have been if Stephanie had brought up Prince William who was the same age as her and me, 13.
Like "Hey Joey, see if you can find out what Prince William's favorite food is from his Grandma.
Thanks to Stephanie's mention of the Clapper and my searching Amazon for it, we are now the proud owners (well, actually Jeremy is) of a Darth Vader Clapper.
    Thanks, Stephanie
I also look up the tv shows that had characters eloping:
    my favorites were:
Nathan and Haley - One Tree Hill
Corey and Topanga - Boy Meets World
I also discuss where I know Scott Menville (Dwayne) from, The Wonder Years as Wart, Wayne Arnold's best friend (Kevin Arnold's older brother).
Scott Menville delivers a great performance in The Wonder Years S6E1: Homecoming as his character comes back from the Vietnam War, forever changed.
Join me on July 25, as I cover in honor of Juan Pablo Di Pace's Birthday (Fernando) Fuller House S4E9: Perfect Sons, which aired on December 14, 2018.
