Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I covered the last episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series, with Fuller House S1E13: Love Is In The Air, which aired on February 26, 2016.
In this episode In this episode When Jesse and Becky return to renew their vows, a bachelorette party leads to trouble for D.J., who is forced to make a big decision.
I thought this was a cute episode and a good way to bookend the Jesse & Becky Love Story coming full circle with their wedding vow renewal.
    ATTENTION!!:

  • Full House: S5E10: Happy Birthday Babies: Part 2 (Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I covered the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series Full House S5E10: Happy Birthday babies, Part 2, which aired on November 12, 1991.
In this episode, it is finally Michelle's fifth birthday party. Everyone dresses up. Dj dresses up as Wilma in Michelle's Flintstones themed party. Stephanie dresses up as Betty Flinstone, Danny, is Dino and all of the kids wear cave men clothes. Comet has a dinosaur costume on and Jesse is dressed up as Fred. Just as Jesse plans to go downstairs to celebrate Michelle's birthday, Becky goes into labor... and so does Jesse, but we soon learn that he has appendicitis. Michelle has to cut her birthday short, but she doesn't mind because her new cousins, Nicky and Alex, get to share her birthday. She especially can't wait because triple the birthday means triple the cake!
As always the episode got me in the feels department when we see Jesse and Becky holding their newborn twin sons who they name Nicky and Alex.
The shenanigans at the Tanner house prior to lead up to the birth , from The Flintstones costumes, which were awesome looking, btw's.
Michelle and her guests being left alone for a mere 5 minutes giving us a classic 90's drop of the famous Home Alone hands slap to the face scream.
I also learn the name of the cat from The Flintstones, get this, it's "Baby Puss", gross right? They couldn't have named it Tiger.
How many shows can you name, that have a character undergoing an appendectomy. I can name a few, from back in the day, Diff'rent Strokes, Silver Spoons, Punky Brewster and what Jeremy declares this episode of Full House to be a blatant rip off storyline of is Night Court, where Mac's wife goes into labor and he has to have his appendix removed.
Loved Danny rocking out to Queen's We Will Rock You while coaching Becky through her breathing and contractions. Also his Dino costume was hands down the best.

  • Full House S6E16 The Heartbreak Kid (Valentine's Day Episode)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
In honor of the month February the month of love and Valentine's Day, I bring you Full House S6E16: The Heartbreak Kid, which aired on February 9, 1993.
In this episode Michelle mistakes Steve's friendliness for romantic love. Jesse has trouble with his new computer.
I really enjoyed this episode, it makes us realize just how tender children's hearts can break so easily and we need to respect their feelings. Am I saying Steve should have just went along with the sham marriage to Michelle, for heaven's sake, no! What, I am saying is DJ and Steve should have been up front with her and told her "Now, Michelle, you know this is all pretend, right? We're just having fun".
It was one thing for Steve to play along, but when DJ got in on this fantasy indulgent of hers, it became too real for Michelle, DJ even states " I can't stand in the way of true love" almost like "here, Michelle, I give Steve to you."
I'm sure many of us probably had a crush on an older person (not adult age, but maybe a few years older than ourselves, that's what this was at first and then it spiraled out of control. We've all I'm sure at one point felt the sting of rejection from an unrequited love, it hurts when they don't share the same feelings.
    The two side stories:
    PLOT B
Jesse and his 90's version of a word processor/dinosaur laptop. This was cute. I love how Steph is the tech genius in the family (even though, it's DJ who has the computer in her room) and had to teach the "adult" how to use it even though Jesse can operate a mixing board and other pieces of equipment pertaining to creating and recording music. Granted Stephanie's version of teaching is telling and not showing, I'm sorry, but if I'm learning something for the first time I need hands on more showing and less telling, as I'm hitting the keys or something, don't just give me a bunch of information and say good luck.
    Now, on to PLOT C:
This one boiled my blood in ANNOYANCE!
Danny and Joey go to clean out Joey's closet, Danny finds a shoe box filled with what he calls JUNK, mind you, this is the same person who had an attic filled with a plastic Zorro sword, dead ants in an ant farm (that's just nasty, throw that out!), a bowling trophy(he didn't even play, it was for cleanest ball), it just goes on and on, I mean, wait till you get to the garage sale, oh boy. But, we'll get to that in the Season 4 Slumber Party episode in MAY 2020.
Anyway Danny finds a picture of his old girlfriend (don't worry, it's not Pam, now, that is a can of worms we don't want to open) is a woman named Barbara. Danny is so fixed on this one girl he dated probably back in 10th grade before Pam and also at this time in the show he was dating Vicki long distance, why harp on this? Why does he care so much?
He even calls her on the phone (stalker much, Danny?) got her number from the phone book (hey 90's kids, remember when we had to do that. Lucky for Danny, she didn't get married, same last name.
Turns out Danny wants to know if she dated him and Joey at the same time. Get this through, Danny broke up with her in high school and Joey swooped in and snapped her up not even a day later.
Anyway, not only dated them both, but did it because she wanted to make a younger guy jealous, any guesses on who this guy could be?
Trust me you don't have to think too hard, he lives in the house with them.
Long story short on PLOT A, Michelle's feelings are hurt when Steve plays a runaway groom (Mom's meatloaf is calling him home, just like when Stephanie married Harry in Season 2 Middle Age Crazy)and Danny helps heal her broken heart by saying she'll fall in love one day for real and get married when she's much older and not at age 6 trying to marry a 17 year old.

  • Full House: S4E26: Rock The Cradle (Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I cover the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series, Full House S4E26: Rock The Cradle, which aired on May 3, 1991.
In this episode Becky discovers that she is pregnant, but has trouble breaking the news to Jesse.
I really liked this episode and felt it was a perfect way to end Season 4 and leave viewers anticipating what was to come in Season 5.
I also felt that a phone call that important should be received in private. How would you like to receive your pregnancy results via a phone call from your doctor or in person?
Also the fact that the family was so amped to tell Jesse that he was gonna be a father before Becky could share in what is probably gonna be the biggest moment of their lives in her own way, like they were trying to steal her thunder.
You only get to reveal the news of expecting your first child once to your spouse or significant other. You don't get a do over or get that moment back again. So, Tanner fam, I know you're exciting and all, but maybe take a step back and let Becky and Jesse have this.
Join me next week when I cover the next to last episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series, one of their biggest moments, the birth of their twin sons, Nicky and Alex Full House S5E10: Happy Birthday Babies, Part 2, which aired on November 12, 1991.
In this episode In this episode, it is finally Michelle's fifth birthday party. Everyone dresses up. Dj dresses up as Wilma in Michelle's Flintstones themed party. • Full House: S4E20: Fuller House (Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series)
    Hey Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Today, I'm bringing you the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series, S4E20: Fuller House, which aired on February 22, 1991.
In this episode Michelle is upset when she learns that Jesse plans to move out of the house and into Becky's apartment.
This episode has always been a tearjerker for me. The goodbye scene between Michelle and Jesse just breaks me every time.
Even once Jesse and Becky are moved in to her or now, (their place) she can see that he's not happy as they take a break from moving boxes into the place and sit on the couch, Jesse is already reminiscing about the nightly bedtime routine at the Tanner house with Michelle, Danny and Joey singing the "Teddy Bear Song". He even goes as far as to say to Becky "You know what I'd be doing if I were home right now?" and the look of hurt on Becky's face as she reminds him "Honey, you are home".
Becky figures the only way to make Jesse happy again is if he's reunited with Michelle and the rest of the family, his "true home".
Thus comence making the attic of the Tanner home the new residence of Jesse and Becky and later in Season 5 the home of their twin boys Nicky and Alex.
Join me next week as I cover the next episode in the Jesse & Becky A Love Story, Full House S4E26: Rock The Cradle, which aired on May 3, 1991.

In this episode Ramona's first kiss leads to a heartbreaking lesson in love. A memorable sister night makes wedding crashers out of DJ and Stephanie.
I also talk about Blake Shelton (my favorite song of his 2003's "The Baby" the song will make you cry), Sinead O' Conner (most known song "Nothing Compares 2 U", the definition of a Pork Pie Hat (which Popko wears in this episode)

  • Full House: S8E14: Super Bowl Fun Day (In Honor Of Super Bowl LIV 54)
Happy Super Bowl Sunday Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Since today is the Super Bowl and I am an avid non Super Bowl Watcher I decided to cover this episode Full House S8E14: Super Bowl Fun Day, which aired on January 25, 1995.
In this episode Joey comes home from a two-week comedy tour to watch the Super Bowl Game, forgetting that he and Jesse had volunteered to take Michelle's science group to the museum that day. He takes them to the local bar so that he can watch the game and promises the kids that they will have fun. When the TV gets broke the guys brings all the mad football fans to there house to watch the game, interrupting DJ's college interview.
As I say in this episode, I'm not a sports team person, my sports watching consists of 90's Kids Sports Movies like, The Mighty Ducks, The Sandlot, Rookie Of The Year, Little Giants and The Big Green.
In this episode I talk about the Super Bowl 2004 Half Time Show Incident between Janet Jackson. I never saw it live but was able to catch it online for this episode.
I also discuss the 10 Best Halftime Musical Acts of the Super Bowl History as well as the strangest Super Bowl Commercial, 2016 Mountain Dew Puppy Monkey Baby. It still freaks me out to see this monstrosity. I mean the pug is cute but the monkey body and baby diaper butt and legs is just something out of someone's nightmares that shouldn't exist
I also learn what constitutes a water cress (not crest) sandwich.
Also who wouldn't want Jesse Katsopolis to shampoo and condition your hair? I know I would, he's got the magic fingers. I also wished I could have been Derek sitting in the chair as Jesse gives the kids a demonstration on how spit ends split.
Weird? Yeah, I know, but who cares. A girl came dream, right?
DJ gets the worst dressed award for this episode (As I've said before on past episodes, I don't think there is a person alive that looks good in a turtle neck, that fashion should have died in the 90's and this is coming from a girl who has evidence of wearing turtlenecks in school photos) and the worst person of the episode. Her attitude was horrible. Screaming, pushing, over demanding, it felt so un DJ like.
Teddy gets the best dressed away for his black vest and black and white print shirt.
I hope you enjoyed this episode and get ready because this week we have our first of three Valentine's Day episodes Full House S2E14: Little Shop Of Sweaters and the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series S4E20: Fuller House.

  • Full House S4E18S4E19 The Wedding Parts 1 And 2 (Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series)
    Happy Friday Tanner Fans,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.
Here’s the next episode of the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series
    Full House S4E18 & S4E19: The Wedding Parts 1 and 2.
    Airdates: February 8 & 15, 1991.
In this episode it’s the night before the wedding and the Tanner house is a buzz with chaos as we have:
Becky’s parents meeting Jesse (continuity error, as they have already met when he went down there to Nebraska for one Christmas or Thanksgiving one year ago)
    It’s awkward trust me.
Just as awkward is when Michelle is reintroduced to Howie, she has no idea who he is.
Not surprising because before Howie in Season 2 was blond and played by two girls and in this one he’s rocking a dark haired curly mullet (hey, the 80’s called, they want their mullet back).
It’s a shame over the two years they didn’t keep up correspondence like a pen pals. Either way Michelle is in her I don’t like boys phase.
This is actually one of Becky’s gripes when she unloads on Jesse (seriously, Becky, it’s not that big a deal. I’m sure she’ll forget he exists again as soon as he leaves)
Changing clothes in the kitchen with a house full of people. Looking at you Danny and Joey.
Father in law not a pep talk.
What not to do on you wedding day: Skydiving
    In Part 2
Jesse gets stuck in a tree and lands in the back of a tomato truck in tomato country. Also he gets arrested.
Everyone else is at the church trying to track down Jesse and keep Becky from becoming a Bridezilla.
Michelle and Howie = mini bride and groom so adorable.
Did I mention this is all being filmed, pre wedding stuff by Stephanie as part of the wedding documentary as a wedding gift we can all laugh at later.
Becky discovers Jesse is in jail and goes to bail him out and then they hijack a choir bus to get back to the wedding.
This is the last appearance of Jesse’s parents Irene and Nick (Irene is heard kind of in a phone call after the twins are born and Grandpa Nick or should I say Great Grandpa Nick is seen in Fuller House Season 3.)
The first time we hear Jesse sing Forever and it’s beautiful.
    Overcrowded House Reception
Finally Married as Jesse and Becky leave on his motorcycle for their honeymoon.
Join me next week for the continuation of the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series as I cover S4E20: Fuller House, which aired on February 22, 1991.
In this episode Michelle is upset when she learns that Jesse plans to move out of the house and into Becky's apartment.
