Today, I decided to cover a special episode in honor of Jodie Sweetin's birthday on January 19. I chose Full House S3E20: Honey, I Broke The House, which aired on March 9, 1990.

In this episode Stephanie drives Joey's prized classic car into the house when she is left unsupervised.

The reason I chose this episode is because I feel Jodie Sweetin did a phenomenal job in the end scene between her and Bob Saget playing daughter and father. She really brought down the house with her acting.

Here’s the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series

Full House S2E21&E22: Luck Be A Lady Parts 1 and 2.

Airdate: April 28, 1989 and May 5, 1989.

In this episode the Tanner fam along with Becky head to Lake Tahoe, Nevada for the first ever LIVE Wake Up San Francisco on location.

Jesse gets a bad case of jealous boyfriend after Becky interviews Todd Masters and sees him invite Becky to dinner.

He then loses his temper and in a fit of rage ends their relationship. Things go from 0-60 in a flash as they make up and his fear of losing her again and wanting to know she is his lead him to propose.

(Is your head spinning? I know Becky’s is.)

The B Story with Joey and the girls gambling 🎰 is quite humorous and proves Joey sometimes isn’t all the bright.

We also meet Shirley the thrice made widow who’s spending her multiple dead husbands’s life insurance money like she’s got money to burn because she does.

She and Joey battle it out over this one slot machine that hit the big $100,000 jackpot. That he missed because he needed that change bucket and DJ’s gambler monster took over her body causing her to jump the velvet rope and pull that lever.

Becky’s conscience finally catches up to her at the altar as Jesse lays out their plan of 5-10 kids in 5-10 years and never leaving San Fran.

At least not for 20 years that we know of.

Becky life flashes before her eyes and she pulls a runaway bride 👰 leaving Jesse to stumble and crumple at the steps.

Good News: They make up 🥳!

As they come to realize they need to date longer than 6 months before saying I Do to forever.

Mr. Santana is a man who wears many hats, he manages the casino, the hotel and officiates weddings.

When does this man sleep? Plus he’s about to kick Danny off the throne of King Of Hugs.

One thing is true, he will never forget the Tanner Family.

Welcome to the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: A Love Story Series, where I cover the big moments of Jesse and Becky's relationship, from their meet cute, to them dating each other, to their almost wedding, their official engagement, their nuptials, Jesse moving out of the Tanner home and then moving into the Tanner House Attic with Becky, Becky announcing her pregnancy, the birth of Nicky and Alex, to the renewal of Jesse and Becky's Wedding Vows 20 Plus Years later.

Today I'm focusing on Full House S2E11: A Little Romance, which aired on January 13, 1989.

In this episode Becky gets the guys to participate in a date auction, and DJ gets her first boyfriend.

In this episode Becky realizes her feelings for Jesse are more than a simple physical attraction while at a Bachelor Charity Auction.

This moment they have at the end and the kiss that they share is the start of Jecky!

DJ learns that looks can be deceiving when it comes in the form of a 12 yr old boy who’s only out for himself as he plays the field with DJ’s heart. This boy might be a pretty face but underneath lurks a real player.

I hope Kimmy used her rumor mill skills to ruin this boy’s rep.

I really run this boy Michael through the ringer during this episode.

Which he so derves BTW.

Full House S2E2: Tanner vs. Gibbler, which aired on October 21, 1988.

In this episode Danny becomes the co-host of the new talk show Wake Up, San Francisco with Rebecca Donaldson who Jesse becomes smitten with after he’s introduced.

DJ throws Kimmy a surprise birthday party that quickly goes south after a couple of older girls are invited with the intention of turning the party into an all out rager. DJ takes a stand only to have Kimmy abandon her and walk out on her own party.

We meet Mr. Bear in this episode too.

And get our first Connie Chung reference, one of a few throughout the show’s run.

A familiar face from Punky Brewster shows up as a mean girl, the one and only Margaux Kramer (Ami Foster) everyone.

The teens trick Max into believing New Years has already happened so he won’t interrupt their midnight kisses and Max with DJ’s help takes his revenge by pulling a move out of Rusty’s playbook

Also join me later this week in the first episode of the new Full House Fuller House Series of 2020, entitled Jesse & Becky: A Love Story, where I chronicle all the big moments of their courtship from their marriage, to having the twins and renewing their wedding vows.

To ring in the new year, I decided to cover Full House S4E13 Happy New Year, which aired on December 28, 1990.

In this episode Jesse and Danny secretly record him for a dating service. Which leads to him inviting who he thinks is the girl of his dreams over for dinner and babysitting and ringing in the new year and maybe something else.

Pump those breaks, Joey!

Rusty, son of Cindy, ever the tormentor is enjoying teasing (I'd actually refer to it as sexual harassment) Stephanie about kissing her on New Years Eve from using chapstick to spraying banacka a breath freshener in his mouth. Granted he was just messing with her but boy oh boy does she get him back in a real way and it just proves what a scared little boy he really is when he goes running to mommy.

Poor Michelle, has trouble staying away for New Years Eve because she's 4 and probably hasn't stayed up past 8:30 before. No one really explains the concept to her about New Years so she expects it to be like a birthday party with cake and presents. What a let down as she says "I stayed up all night to kiss a dog, this is nuts!"

Well said, Michelle, well said, kiddo.

Today I covered Fuller House S5E9: A Modest Proposal, which aired on December 6, 2019.

In this episode Fernando talks DJ into helping with his proposal to Kimmy, but it's DJ that's in for the surprise.

I wanted to cover the Season 5 midseason finale before 2019 ended so we can begin on a clean slate for 2020 when Part B of Fuller House Season 5 airs in the Spring.

I didn't tear up when I first saw this episode, but boy did I during this time.

I loved the kids helping Jimmy at the sandwich shop, also Max bragging about getting paid complete with vision, dental and 401K and his plans to retire at 17 and buy a condo, Ha, ha!

Today, I give to you the last episode in the Tis The Season Series, Fuller House S4E1: Oh My Santa, which aired on December 14, 2018.

In this episode, when Max gets a case of the bah-humbugs -- and Tommy has a meltdown at the mall -- DJ does everything she can to get them back in the Christmas spirit.

This was such a sweet and endearing episode that many people who have lost a loved one (as I have this year) can relate to what Max is going through. I loved Stephanie's overprotectiveness of Kimmy who is currently carrying Stephanie's baby via surrogate. That is real friendship there. Stephanie even calls Kimmy her friend and we all awww!

Kimmy's super sonic sensitive hearing picks up a phone conversation of Tommy Sr (DJ's husband who passed away)from a home movie the family is watching and surprises the Fuller Fam with a sweet and heartwarming surprise.

Of course this episode of both Fuller House Christmas Episodes will be at the top, filled with many surprises along with surprise guests and also a surprising snowfall to top off this adorable family Christmas episode is the cherry on the sundae.

Here's the next to last installment in the Tis The Season Series,

Fuller House S2E12: Nutcrackers, which aired on December 9, 2016.

In this episode Tis the season to be in love, but Stephanie doesn't want to hear it. Max gets a girlfriend for Christmas, and Ramona suits up for "The Nutcracker."

We also have a bunny named Jack, a girl named Rose who shares Max's love of the movie Titanic, if you love the movie as much as I do you'll enjoy the many Titanic jokes and puns throughout the episode, Kimmy hijacks a performance of The Nutcracker in Ramona's sted and gives a hilarious performance complete with, yep you guessed it, the Gibbler Gallop, along with the shopping cart and Michael Jackson's Thriller dance. Non stop laughs, I'll tell you.

We get a throwback to the Full House S6E1 Come Fly With Me with the mispronunciation of Oakland/Auckland, remember Steph and Michelle getting on that plane, whoa boy.

We get an I Love You from Jimmy after only dating Stephanie for like 4 months but it's whatevs if it's love it's love, Not ready to say it back Stephanie does everything possible to avoid talking to Jimmy and is also evaluated by Dr. DJ as to why she runs from love, apparently she has commitment issues due to how she shut out everyone after her mom died and doesn't want to get close to someone again. Maybe there's some truth to that. Who knows?

Tis The Season for giving, and here is my gift to you the listeners, another Full House Christmas episode.

Today, I covered Full House S8E11: Arrest Ye Merry Gentleman, which aired on December 13, 1994.

In this episode Michelle saves up to buy the perfect present for her father for Christmas. Later Becky buys the same present as a gag gift for Joey, and the whole family Laughs at it. Michelle forces Jesse to take her to return it on Christmas eve but the store clerk wont budge. He presses a button that calls the police after Jesse insists forcefully. Nicky and Alex are afraid of Santa Clause.

I always enjoy this episode especially for the joy of seeing Mickey Rooney's smiling face, once he stops being a curmudgeon.
