A movie is a giant puzzle piece shot completely out of sequence. That's why jobs like the script supervisor exist: to make sense of it all when it's time to cut it together. Today we talk to Oklahoma's highly sought after scripty, Amanda Higo (formerly known as Amandy Gonzalez). She's been a professional script supervisor for nearly a decade and knows a thing or two about continuity and eye lines. Oh yeah, what's an eye line? Listen to our conversation to find out!
Want to reach out to Amanda? Email her at [email protected] or visit her on instagram @filmgirlmandy.

Think appealing to your audience is tough? Today we take a look back at our conversation with filmmakers Brian Cates and Adam Carter, the original duo that brought Behold Motion Pictures to life. They produce content for the world of church-based audiences, and it's a fascinatingly complicated mine field to tackle. With so many different denominations out there, how do you create clean content (an admirable challenge in itself) that will appeal to ALL of them?
Keep an eye out for Behold Motion Pictures' upcoming feature film, Family Camp, coming out later this year!

Today we go aaaaaall the way back to the very beginning for a few of todays most successful Oklahoma filmmakers. Ryan Belgardt, known today for his movies Jurassic Games, The Adventures of Rufus the Fantastic Pet, and many many more, found his feature film debut with a little movie called "Army of Frankensteins". After finally nailing down a distribution deal, Ryan and his team were off to the races. So in today's vintage episode, we're going to revisit that journey that they took and hopefully give you some insight into finding that illusive distribution deal.

Sound department is an extremely important, but somewhat enigmatic department on the set. So much focus goes on the picture, the framing, the wardrobe, the makeup, the artwork, and then... sound. Oh yeah! You have to hear the movie too!
Today we sit down with one of Oklahoma's best and most experienced sound mixers, Kabe Cornell. He has worked on literally every single type of project. Feature films, short films, documentary, live sports, reality, you name it and he's done it. Kabe walks us through the department and equipment, the basics of boom operating, and wiring actors (like Tyra Banks!)

Pursuing a career in acting is no easy feat. There's not a whole lot of financial stability, you're traveling constantly, and if you find success it can easily warp you pretty quickly. So how do you pursue a fruitful career in acting and be a normal functioning human that can raise a family? Say you want to get married, have kids, keep a garden that doesn't find a swift demise. How do you do that?!
Today we talk to Damon Carney, an actor that you've seen fight (and lose his head to) freaking Wolverine in Logan, be a Texas Ranger in Gore Verbenski's The Lone Ranger, and has starred in countless other roles over the past two decades.
