Have you ever tried to shoot a "oner"? The idea of telling any kind of story using only a single shot should make your brain hurt. Today we are joined by the filmmakers behind the one shot wonder noir drama "Worm". The whole darn thing is shot from the snorricam angle for goodness sake!
You can watch this award winning feature film for FREE right here:

Now when you watch that movie, you may be thinking to yourself, "why does that guy look so familiar?" Well it's because the film's writer, director, and star happens to be Andrew Bowser AKA Onyx The Fortuitous. Ring a bell? Maybe "Weird Arby's Guy" will ring it louder.
These guys have been making some really cool stuff for a really long time. It was a huge honor and a genuine blast to have them on the show.

Terminator Genysis
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Ender's Game
Jack Reacher

It’s easy to think of the film industry as a big overwhelming machine. Its full of countless department heads and thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of gear. But for every Goliath, there is a David with his little sling and a lot of passion. That’s truly the best way to describe Outsiders Productions. A small group of friends that have learned by doing. Not by going to the most expensive film schools and spending millions on their movies; but by creating new things and newer things, refining and polishing their skills to get where they are.

A note from Brian:
The fact that Adam’s track is missing on this episode kills me, but thanks to some fancy sound wizardry, you can hear the wisdom he brings to the conversation clearly. I will say I considered just not releasing the episode because of the technical issues, but I thought to myself “did you even listen to what Adam and Kenny were talking about? Don’t let your own personal failure keep you from finishing what you started.”
I typically enjoy making these episodes as lighthearted and fun as we can, but every once in a while I find myself sharing the studio with folks that just bring incredible wisdom and candor to the conversation. These guys are solid dudes. SOLID dudes. So I hope you enjoy this interview, technical warts and all.
I will most definitely have Adam and Kenny on the show again, and we will most definitely have everything working correctly.

Musical improv is seriously one of the most baffling things I've ever seen. Whether it's your favorite rapper freestyling or Wayne Brady pulling out a full on song from thin air, improvising lyrics, melodies, and harmonies takes some serious skill.
Or does it?
Today we’re talking to Kendan Lacy and Kyle Gossett of OKC Improv! In previous episodes, we’ve touched on basic improv stuff and played plenty of short form games similar to who’s line is it anyway. Today we’re taking what we have learned and expanding on it to performing musical improv. Can you come up with lyrics off the top of your head? Can you go with the flow and sing a full on duet that neither of you have heard before? Kendan and Kyle pull back the veil and reveal the secrets behind the magic.
Disclaimer: We had an issue with one of the mics that we didn’t catch until after the interview. So we apologize in advance for it not sounding the best it could have been. Argh. Technology is frustrating sometimes.
