Coach Connelly founded the Official L. A. Marathon Training Program; (L.A. Roadrunners).  He supervised and coached over 30,000 runners that participated in a five-month training program and boasted a finish rate of over 97%. Pat has given clinics at marathon races around the world on the topic, “Getting More Out of Your Training and Racing.” In addition, Coach Connelly published a book on running, “Go the Distance”.

Coach was an LA Police Sergeant who incubated the world wide drug program, “Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)

She's survived cancer multiple times, she's run across America, north to south, east to west, around the perimeter and the ice road in Alaska. She's run 16 miles up and down the Rocky steps. She often averages over a marathon a day on her cross country runs. But more importantly, she stops and speaks to cancer centers, schools and hospitals giving hope to an amazing amount of people.

There are crazy runners everywhere. Robert "Raven" Kraft started running 8 miles a day in 1975 and hasn't missed a day since. He's circumnavigated the globe 5 times. And going on 70 he still does 20 chin ups a day and pushes to get his 100 pushups in. He's not only a daily inspiration, he's a community builder. People show up every day to run with him in Miami, Florida from all over the world.
