  • MELORA HARDIN
    THE OFFICE IS OPEN
Melora Hardin had carved out an impressive career in movies and television before becoming Jan on NBC’s hit, “The Office.”
The daughter of prolific character actor, Jerry Hardin, who has appeared in over 100 films and television shows, and Diane Hardin, acting coach to such young stars as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank, River Phoenix, and others, Melora needed no encouragement to go into show business. She was acting, singing, and writing songs before the age of 5, and made her first TV appearance at age 8, combining television work with her grueling training with the esteemed Joffrey Ballet of New York
In 1991 she played the dream role of a vintage-era nightclub singer in “The Rocketeer,” with Billy Campbell, contributing several songs to the film’s soundtrack. On television she made steady appearances on shows like “Quantum Leap” and “Caroline in the City," plus several juicy, memorable character moments like getting Ross to talk dirty on “Friends.”
In 1997, Clint Eastwood cast her in the pivotal role of Christy Sullivan, opposite Gene Hackman, in "Absolute Power."
Following her role as the wife of obsessive-compulsive investigator, "Monk," played by Tony Shaloub, the sudden success of the famed British series, "The Office," plucked her away to reprise the pilot role she played as Jan Levinson, no-nonsense boss and sex object, which has resulted in Hardin's roles in "Thank You For Smoking," "27 Dresses," "17 Again," and "Hannah Montana: The Movie."
Melora recently made her directorial debut in the highly acclaimed film, "You," which she also produced and starred in, co-starring her husband, Gildart Jackson, along with friends and family members.

  • THOM BIERDZ - YOUNG AND RESTLESS
PHILLIP CHANCELLOR III BACK FROM THE DEAD!
NOTE: Thom is also on my show from 09/06 at this URL: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/olivia/2009/09/07/ART-OF-LIVING-MAGAZINE-
Thom Bierdz played Phillip Chancellor III on The Young and the Restless from 1986-1989. Weeks after leaving the show to pursue a movie career, his mother was killed by his mentally ill younger brother Troy. Thom's future was instantly crushed with overwhelming questions, and a frustrating lack of answers. For the next 15 years he researched and chronicled the account, and held nothing back as he penned an honest and emotional book uncovering profound spiritual insights.
During that time he found solace as he returned to the canvas painting, with the same soulful vulnerability we had witnessed on screen.
With a desire to help others, Thom donated time painting live to bring both awareness and much needed funds to charities that are close to his heart. He is humbled and proud that to date his art donations has raised over $100,000 for these important causes.
Coming full circle, Thom's return to "The Young and the Restless" is truly a deep and personal victory over the profound adversity he has faced both privately and publicly. When he first appeared on the show in 1986, he was told by his management to hide his sexuality. They said to "come out" would ruin his career and any chances of fulfilling his dreams. Today as an out gay man, Thom's personal mission and message for everyone is to live their most authentic life where transformational power lies in being true to who we are. It is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to one another. "

  • MICHELE BOHBOT - BISOU BISOU
"I had my American Dream all my life. I never forgot about this dream."
Michele Bohbot was originally born in Fez, Morocco. At the age of nineteen, she moved to Paris where she studied philosophy and law at the Sorbonne. Her fashion career started in Paris, where she opened her first fashion outlet, callec Micky1, eventually going on to open and manage a number of retail stores around Paris, with her husband, Marc.
In 1987, Michele and Marc left France with their 3 young children, and settled in Los Angeles, where Marc had a business selling French jeans. When that business failed, and the Bohbots lost everything, Marc wanted to move back to France. Michele, pregnant with her fourth child, convinced Marc to stay on in Los Angeles.
Michele had a vision of bringing Parisian street fashion with a modern style to American women. Although she knew something about designing, she had no expertise with sewing or the construction of a garment. With a total of $6,000, she teamed up with a seamstress from her husbands failed jeans business, bought fabric, rented a studio, and launched her collection under her own label "Bisou Bisou," meaning "a little kiss." Initially, they only sold jeans, but over time the collection grew to incorporate sportswear, denim and dresses, along with licensees for shoes, outerwear, handbags, and accessories.
In its 20 year history, "Bisou Bisou" has become a global fashion leader, exceeding $80 million in annual revenues and employing 350 people. With offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris, "Bisou-Bisou" has come to sell its garments on the international market at high-end department stores all over the world.
    Pretaped; no calls.

  • HARVEY LEVIN - TMZ
"Our standards are as high as The New York Times."
Whether you agree with that statement or not, it must be said that once again, TMZ broke a story before anyone else in reporting that Michael Jackson, was, indeed, dead.
Last week I was able to catch Harvey, literally on the run, in this case, on his way to work, at 5:30 a.m. (!) This interview proves that Harvey Levin, the "Prince of Paparazzi," is, indeed, "a lawya!"
Harvey Levin a lawyer, legal analyst, American television producer, and a celebrity reporter.
He has worked in various legal roles in the entertainment industry. For years, he was a legal reporter on KCBS-TV, in Los Angeles, where he reported on the O.J. Simpson murder trial. In 1994, Levin almost caused murder charges against Simpson to be tossed out, when he presented a video on KCBS-TV that allegedly showed Prosecutor Marcia Clark searching Simpson’s home before a search warrant was issued. Within days, however, Levin was forced to retract the story and apologize on the air.
In 1996, Levin moved to New York to work as a legal analyst for The People's Court (he had appeared on the show during the 1980's as a legal consultant during Doug Llewelyn's years) and deactivated his California bar license. Six years later, in 2002, Levin served as creator and executive producer for "Celebrity Justice," until it was cancelled after three years.
Today Levin is managing editor at TMZ.com, a celebrity news and gossip site launched by Time Warner-AOL, in December 2005. He also executive produces and hosts, TMZ on TV. He is a frequent guest on CNN's "Larry King Live."
Interview is 15 minutes & taped.
