  • LARRY GULI- GENERAL HOSPITAL
    GENERAL HOSPITAL MOBSTER: "UNCLE PAULIE"
Larry Guli has been performing since he was in a production of "Oklahoma," in high school, playing the sheriff. He volunteered to do a cowboy dance, Afraid to tell his father, he waited until he found out at the show. His enthusiastic approval was the defining moment for Larry to realize that he would always want to play to an audience.
Larry Guli's "performing" continued to manifest in a motley assortment of ways: as a company commander & Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, as a member of the New York Stock Exchange and managing partner of one of the most prestigious specialist firm on the floor, and in playing Senior professional golf.
When his grown children relocated to Chicago, he and his wife moved to be closer to them, and he found the opportunities to seriously pursue an acting career. Some of the top people in the business encouraged him enough to relocate to Los Angeles and become at last, later in life, a professional actor.
Larry has since appeared in theatre, many films, television, including "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and has played "Uncle Paulie" on the longest running daytime drama, "General Hospital," for the past year and a half.

  • FROM VH1'S TOUGH LOVE: STEVE AND JOANN WARD
Steve and JoAnn Ward serve up some "Tough Love"
VH1's first season of "Tough Love" just ended a popular debut show for mother and son team, JoAnn and Steve Ward. A group of 8 "desperate and single" women who can't understand why lived together for 8 weeks, as Steve and JoAnn guided them through a series of challenges, situations, and dates with a variety of men well-suited to their wishes and needs.
Steve often offended with his blunt in-your-face assessments, but in the end, everyone came out ahead, having learned to rise above their individual issues, and even find love.
Personally, I loved the show. It started off with me thinking it would be lame and that Steve was too cocky for his own good. Individually, the women that annoyed me the most ended up becoming my favorites by the finale this past week. It got my attention and pulled me in. I'm looking forward to season 2.
If you missed the first season, listen in tonight and get a recap and prepare for what I am sure will be an exciting second season to come!

  • GLEIB, COLONNA, MORRISON - COMEDY FEST!
    GLEIB..COLONNA..MORRISON
This show contains some off-color humor. Please do not listen if you are under 21 and/or easily offended.
SPECIAL TREAT TONIGHT! A triple delight, with comics, Ben Gleib, Sarah Colonna, and Ben Morrison. Immensely popular and busy individually, I am very fortunate to be bringing all three together for my version of the Chelsea Lately Roundtable. The fact that all have been on Chelsea Lately multiple times is where the comparison ends. This will be a totally adlibbed laugh-fest!

  • Chef Alex Guarnaschelli - Food Network
    Alex Guarnaschelli: The Cooking Loft
Chef Alex Guarnaschelli is chef at popular NYC restaurant, "Butter," where her extensive background in French cooking made her a natural choice. Alex, the daughter of a successful cookbook editor, was constantly "coaxed away from Barbieland under the dining room table to peel potatoes, knead bread, or assemble a trifle."
A Barnard College graduate, Alex started her career working in Larry Forgione's "An American Place," but elected to enrich her culinary education and skills by studying abroad in France. She received her Grand Diplome from Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Burgundy. Her next assignment was working for acclaimed 3-star Michelin chef, Guy Savoy, in Paris. There she learned how to "cook and treat ingredients with the respect they deserve." Chef Savoy quickly promoted Alex to sous chef in his "La Butte Chaillot."
Alex returned to New York to work with Daniel Bouloud to work at his acclaimed "eponymous" restaurant, where she worked for two years, before going to Los Angeles to work Joachim Splichal at "Patina" restaurant, rated "Top Restaurant" for 10 years running by Zagat's.
Since last summer, Chef Guarnaschelli has been seen on Food Network's "The Cooking Loft," and as a judge in "Chopped," as well as appearances on "Iron Chef."
