This Newton Massachusetts area native is the son to former New England Patriot Brian Holloway and one of the grandkids to Boston Bruins legend Johnny ‘Pie’ McKenzie. David is also a walk on former college football athlete, turned pro athlete and now currently a motivational speaker.
David opens up this episode discussing how difficult it was being a walk on athlete at the University of Maryland. He discusses how difficult it was being under weight for the linebacker position and having to gain the respect of his teammates (which he said it took a full 2 years to do so!)
12 minutes in Britt & David begin chatting about David’s pro career. In 2007 he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals. He also spent some time with the Redskins, the Cleveland Browns, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. David says that back in the early 2000s that the AZ Cardinals organization was ‘a joke’ and a losing organization…so much so, that his siblings heckled him about it! — David also speaks about his time getting to know fellow underdog [Kurt Warner].
25 minutes in Britt & David wrap up the sports talk and hop right into Mr. Holloway’s current passion which is -motivational speaking. He truly believes your “gifts are not complete” until you share them with others.

Brittany believes that all people in their lifetime will be affected either directly or indirectly in one way, shape, or form from domestic abuse. She also believes it is up to us as a whole to stop the cycles of abuse in hopes of helping the ‘next generation’ of kids.
Britt starts off by defining domestic abuse. She also gives examples of emotional, psychological and physical abuse. Also within this episode are warning signs and redflags to look out for when searching for ‘mates’ and life partners.
