Lauriane and Dominic are a young couple who discovered their common love of travel back in 2015. In 2019, they took time off from work and traveled to 23 countries in the span of four months. I worked with Lauriane when I was at KPMG, one of the largest accounting firms in the world. The two are extremely focused individuals who understand the importance of having a growth mindset. And the power of setting and sticking to a plan. I sit down with the couple to talk about their willingness to give up anything to live their dream. Taking the time to think and things you learn from traveling - including what you can take back home with you. We also talk about how your actions can tell you whether or not you really want to achieve your goal.

I participate in what my friend and host Elisabeth Cardiello calls a "Brave Conversation". She is the owner of Caffe Unimatic and the founder of legacy out loud. Brave Conversation was created by Elisabeth with the intention of bringing humans together around a table over coffee to take positive steps forward. We sit down with NYC based cinemotagrapher, Kristin Kremers, to exercise holding space in each other's experience to answer the question - what does becoming mean for you right now?

Joe Lavacca is a physical therapist in NYC for almost 10 years. He has seen (and been a part of) both the good and the bad of the profession. He has developed a style that centers around education and empowerment through his experiences with mentors, continuing education, teaching for RockTape, and his own personal battle with depression. Those experiences, coupled with the birth of his daughter, re-shaped his view on life and his career. Joe and I sit down and talk about how in all aspects of life, people can often feel well, but also be in pain. The fact that people just want to feel like they are being felt and the importance of having a human element when treating other human beings. We talk about his own personal battle with depression and the importance of coming back to a center point.

Eric Brown is the founder and owner of Waterline. A full audio post creative studio who's featured work includes the 2018 NBC Olympics, US Open tennis and Shawn Mendez. Eric is also the co-owner of CrossFit Union Square located in the heart of New York City. Eric and I talk about the fact that everyone just need to start on something, the importance of travelling alone, how the details are what makes the thing the thing, and what happens beneath the surface is what really matters.

Elisabeth Cardiello is the founder and owner of Caffe Unimatic. She had business cards at six and her first product on shelves at 13. She graduated from business school, spent time at Credit Suisse and a hedge fund, dealt with loss, found herself, found her passion, more loss, learned the meaning of post traumatic growth, started a coffee company (with a story you won't believe!), gave two TEDx talks, and was featured in the NetFlix documentary Coffee For All. Elisabeth is famous for asking hard questions, Disney-character-like facial expressions, doing handstands in crazy places and urging people to linger just a little longer at the table together, over coffee.
