When we said that we would try a few different content ideas in-between seasons, we meant it! Today, we bring you: On Call Me Maybe: OVERTIME: Adriana Reacts! Adriana has been advocating for Trace-Based Testing (TBT) for a while now; and was one of the early users of TBT tool Tracetest. So it’s only fitting that we bring in some of the Tracetest crew, Ken Hamric, Adnan Racić, and Oscar Reyes, to talk about the importance of TBT! And as a special treat, the Tracetest folks unveil a new feature to give TBT some added superpowers, to ensure code instrumentation consistency and data quality for effective Observability.

Do you like getting in front of an audience and giving a talk? It’s a mixed bag for most folks. For this episode, Adriana once again sits down with her daughter, Hannah, and Miss Unicorn, and we get to hear their thoughts on what it’s like to do public speaking. They share their experiences in giving talks for school and work. It includes tips on how to present, how to work with others, how to deal with the pressure that comes with it and how to take feedback from others.

In this series, we will be having more casual conversations about all sorts of random things with folks in and out of tech. For our first episode, OCMM co-host Adriana Villela sits down with her daughter Hannah to hear about her experience baking and troubleshooting her baked goods, and how it translates to the world of technology.

It’s the final episode of Season 2, and Adriana and Ana got to sit down with the one and only Adrian Cockcroft to talk about all things tech. Adrian reflects on his time at Sun Microsystems, eBay, Netflix, Battery Ventures, and Amazon Web Services and shares his thoughts on how cloud computing and programming languages have evolved over time. We also come full circle with Episode 1 of this season, as Adrian talks about his work around standardizing how we can track the carbon footprints of technology vendors.
