Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will be joined by a special in-studio guest for today's edition of Oilersnation Everyday. Matthew Iwanyk, formerly of TSN 1260, joins the two of them to discuss everything Edmonton Oilers related along with the other nonsense that occurs on the show.
Today, Tyler and Liam played on Cap Friendly's armchair GM mode and put together their 2023/24 Oilers roster. Should the Oilers move both Warren Foegele and Kailer Yamamoto? How should Ken Holland address the right wing? What upgrades can be made to the blue line? The guys will cover that and more during this segment. Once the rosters are revealed, be sure to leave your reaction in the live chat over on the Oilersnation YouTube Channel.
To close out the show, the three of them will look around the sports world for the Betway sports report. Last night, the Boston Celtics headlined a three-way deal with Kristaps Porzingis heading to the Celtics. Also, the Travellers Championship is this weekend which they will discuss too.

Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff joins Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday. Frank will give updates regarding Kailer Yamamoto's future with the Edmonton Oilers along with the team's contract situations. Additionally, Frank released his latest trade target lists which are dominated by Winnipeg Jets and Philadelphia Flyers players. He will give some explanation on a few players on that list.
Also on the show, Tyler and Liam will take a look at who could be available for the Oilers at pick 56. The first round of the 2023 class is loaded with talent, but will anybody be available for them late in the second?
Finally, the trade machine took one of Frank's top trade targets and found him a new home in the Eastern Conference.
If there is something you would like to add to the conversation, head over to the Oilersnation YouTube channel and watch the show live. During the duration of the show, you can interact with Tyler and Liam in the live chat.

Rumours began to swirl yesterday when NHL insider Darren Dreger suggested the Edmonton Oilers are interested in Brett Pesce. Pesce is a right-shot defenceman from the Carolina Hurricanes and has one year left on his deal at $4,025 million, according to cap friendly. Should Pesce be an option for the Oilers? Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will discuss this on today's show.
Also coming up on the show, Connor Halley from Oilersnation After Dark will join the guys. With Connor, they will discuss the Oilers off-season plans along with today's player grade and the trade machine.
Coming up on today's player grade is Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The Nuge had a fantastic regular season scoring 100 points for the first time in his career. However, the playoffs did not go as well scoring only one goal before the Oilers were eliminated by the Vegas Golden Knights, the eventually Stanley Cup champions. How would you grade Nugent-Hopkins? Leave your thoughts in the live chat during today's show.
Then, of course, they will round out the show with their Betway picks for the weekend.

What would you do if the Edmonton Oilers were gifted $5 million in extra cap space? That is today's Sherwood Ford GIANT off-season question that Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will answer. If you have some thoughts you would like to share, head over to the Oilersnation YouTube channel and leave your comments in the live chat.
Also, on the show, the two of them will look around the NHL, specifically at general managers with the most pressure on them to succeed.
Continuing on, Evander Kane is next up on the off-season grading list. Kane's season was plagued by injuries, which really disrupted his game. Did we really see the best of Kane this season? Tyler and Liam will get into that during the grading segment.
Finally, the trade machine continues to work its magic. It spat out a three-way trade involving the Columbus Blue Jackets again. When you see the trade, be sure to leave your thoughts and let the guys know who you think would say no.

We finally had some official Edmonton Oilers news!
Derek Ryan is returning to the City of Champions for two years at an AAV of $900k. Ryan banged home 13 goals last season and is a reliable bottom-six forward at a team-friendly price. What do you think of this deal? Join Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilernsation Everyday to discuss the deal for the 36-year-old.
The Stanley Cup was handed out last night after the Vegas Golden Knights dismantled the Florida Panthers 9-3 in game five. Congratulations to the Golden Knights, I suppose...
Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff joins Tyler and Liam on the show today to discuss that cup win for Vegas. Additionally, they will discuss the Ryan contract, the next potential contract handed out in Edmonton and some potential trade targets.
Finally, Philip Broberg is next up to hear his grades for the 2022-23 season. It was an up-and-down season for the young defenceman, who played a career high in games played. Head over to the Oilersnation YouTube channel to give your thoughts on Broberg's season, and leave your opinion in the live chat.

With new ownership on the horizon in Ottawa, reports today started to swirl about the future of Steve Staois. A few weeks ago, it was speculated that Staois could be the new General Manager of the Oilers, replacing Ken Holland. However, that has not happened yet. On the show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin dive into what the future could hold for the former NHL defenceman.
Ryan Pinder from Flamesnation joins Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on the show today. The Calgary Flames have been in the news a lot recently after hiring a new General Manager and Head Coach. Pinder will give some insight into what has been going down in Southern Alberta and what next season could look like for the Flames.
Next up on the Oilers report cards is Philip Broberg. Broberg played a career-high in games with 46 but how much of an impact did he have? Tyler and Liam will give their thoughts on the young Oilers defenceman and what the future could hold for him.
Finally, of course, the trade machine goes for another spin. After you see the hypothetical trade, leave your thoughts on the deal in the live chat during the show.

Tyler Yaremchuk is back on Oilersnation Everyday along with his co-host Liam Horrobin. Even without the Edmonton Oilers on the ice, it was an exciting weekend around the sports world and the two of them will recap what went down. Of course, we had game four of the Stanley Cup finals, which saw Vegas take a 3-1 lead, the Denver Nuggets did the same in the NBA Finals over the Miami Heat, and then Nick Taylor capped it all off with an incredible 72-foot putt to win the Canadian Open.
After that, they will move more into the Oilers talk and continue their player grading series. On Friday's show, they covered Nick Bjugstad and discussed what it would take to bring him back. Today, they move on to #73 Vincent Descharnais. Descharnais was one of the surprises of the season for the Oilers, coming up later in the year and making a positive impact. Unfortunately, the playoffs did not go as well but he still had some moments. How would you grade Descharnais' season?
Finally, the Columbus Blue Jackets had a busy past week filling out their blueline with Ivan Provorov and Damon Severson. While that is all good, they still need help down the middle. Well, last night the trade machine went for a spin and spat out a deal involving the Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames.
