Game four was not going great for the Edmonton Oilers last night after 20 minutes of play in Los Angeles. The Oilers trailed 3-0 in what felt like a dismal effort for a team that lost in game three so controversially. However, Edmonton found a way a fight back. With three goals in the second period, the game was tied at three until the Kings regained the lead. Despite that, the Oilers continued to battle, then Evander Kane scored the tying goal, and Zach Hyman won game four in overtime.
On Oilersnation Everyday, Liam Horrobin will take over the host seat with Tyler Yaremchuk still on his way back from the City of Angels. Liam will be joined by former NHLer Shawn Belle as the two of them will break down what happened in game four. The Edmonton Oilers now trail in their first round matchup versus the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings took the series lead in game three when Trevor Moore scored the overtime winner. The goal did not come without controversy; however, Gabe Vilardi looked to control the puck with a high stick. Despite the Oilers claims, the officials determined that the goal stood and the Kings would leave the rink with the victory.
Do you believe the goal should have stood? Let Tyler Yaremchuk and Jay Downton know over on the Oilersnation YouTube channel in the live chat during today's show. Along with discussing the goal, the two of them will recap what happened in game three as well as preview the action today for game four. They will talk about any changes the Oilers should make in the lineup, how they can counter the Kings and also the decision between the pipes.
Finally, they will talk about what is going down in LA since they are down there, thanks to AMA Travel.

The Edmonton Oilers did not make it easy last night, but they managed to come away from game two with the tie the series up at one.
Much like game one, the Oilers came out and dominated the first period. Derek Ryan and Leon Draisaitl each got the crowd rocking, making it 2-0 after the first period. It was not just offensively that the Oilers dominated but defensively, too, not allowing the LA Kings to have a shot until the last five minutes of the first. Edmonton had a stranglehold on the game still in the second period until Phillip Danault finally beat Stuart Skinner. Shortly after, the Oilers put themselves on the penalty kill killing their momentum. The game was tied heading into the second intermission after Gabe Vilardi scored his first of the playoffs. The third period savour for the Oilers, who scored his first of the playoffs, and Evander Kane finished it off with an empty net goal.
Tyler Yaremchuk will break everything down from game two, along with former NHLer Shawn Belle and Liam Horrobin. If you have something, you would like to contribute to the conversation, join the guys over on the Oilersnation YouTubce channel and leave your comments in the live chat.

Game one did not go as planned for the Edmonton Oilers. After holding a two goal lead in the third period, the Los Angeles Kings clawed their way back into the game tying it with 16 seconds left and then winning in overtime. Tonight, the Oilers have the opportunity to redeem themselves when they host the Kings for game two of round one of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
To get you prepared for tonight's game, Tyler Yaremchuk is around to host a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everday. He will be joined by Jay Downton and Liam Horrobin as the three of them do the show live from Greta. If there is something you would like to contribute to the conversation, join them live at noon on the Oilersnation YouTube channel and leave your comments in the live chat.
