The Edmonton Oilers were back on home ice for the first time since before the NHL's All Star break last night. While it was an entertaining game, the final score resulted in the Oilers only coming away with one point rather than two. After a poor first period in the defensive zone, which saw them down 2-0, Edmonton had to claw their way back into the game. How did you feel about last night's game? Let us know during today's live show on The Nation Network YouTube channel.
With that, Tyler Yaremchuk will break down everything that happened at Rogers Place last night. Was Jack Campbell good enough? Is the penalty kill falling back into its old ways? Are the Oilers worse when they play 12 and 6? Tyler will talk about all of that and more during his evaluation of the game.
Other big news that could come out during today's show is the waiver wire update. Eventually, the Oilers will have to activate Kailer Yamamoto from LTIR. Could that be today? If so, Tyler will talk about it as the news breaks at noon.
Finally, the trade talk will continue on today's show, with the trade deadline getting closer and closer.

It is safe to say that last night was not great for the Edmonton Oilers. The Edmonton Oilers are looking to make it three wins in a row tonight when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Oilers have not faced the Flyers yet this season but in their most recent meeting Mikko Koskinen had a 39-save shutout to help Edmonton win 3-0.

Tyler Yaremchuk will discuss that and more on today's Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday. On top of that, he will go in deep on the latest topics going on around the Edmonton Oilers.
