Men’s mental health affects families, marriages, careers, and entire communities, yet it’s still one of the hardest topics to talk about openly.
In this episode, I’m joined by my dad, a social worker, former pastor, and someone who has personally navigated ADHD, loneliness, and mental health challenges throughout his life. Together, we have an honest conversation about why so many men struggle in silence, the unique pressures men face, the impact of loneliness and isolation, and what healthy support can actually look like.
We also discuss how these challenges can show up in first responders, why asking for help often feels so difficult, and what families can do to create space for real conversations.
Whether you’re a first responder, a spouse, or someone who simply cares about the men in your life, this episode is a reminder that struggling doesn’t make you weak, and that no one was meant to carry life’s hardest burdens alone.
