In the 8th installment to this series and season finale, Dr. Hyman holds nothings back. In an effort to dive into the woes of systemic racism and its effect on the black community, JD reveals a habit he developed to protect himself from certain stereotypes and how that habit effected his life even to this day. JD also rolls back more of his life during his time in college and how his very existence was challenged by those in power.
