A team show this week as Schibecs, Walker and Craill work through the week that was, including the Brazilian GP, World Endurance Championship and NASCAR playoffs via the crucible of the Hot and Not rankings. Walker gives his tips on Victoria's backroads after a weekend of grass roots racing, while we also had a vested interest in the Melbourne Cup which went exactly the way we were told to expect. Suffice to say, there's no guest this week because we couldn't afford it - but nice to have a horse in the race. Literally..

RACING heritage runs deep in the Geoghegan family with five-time Touring Car champion Ian 'Pete' and Leo stars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Now, Pete's grandson Max has claimed his first national championship, taking the Toyota GR Cup title in style in a climactic showdown on the streets of Surfers Paradise. He joins the show this week to reflect on his crown, his first Supercars test and his family legacy.
Then, it's onto the usual Hot's and Not's of a particularly big week in motorsport.

There's no other way to say it - our guest this week is genuine friend of the show and now Bathurst winner, Todd Hazelwood. That alone should be reason to listen - but stay for the full OTG debrief of all the pro's and con's of the biggest event of the year.

It's our Great Race preview! We're running our eye over the Bathurst 1000 field with a team by team preview and a look at everything else going on over the big race week. Oh, and did we mention we did it with a refreshing Bathurst-brewed beer? The weekly Hot's and Not's are there and also Tony Schibeci reports in from the USA, where he caught up with Team Penske's commercial chief, Aussie ex-pat Chris Wilson. Enjoy the Great Race, everyone!

WHEN you think Bathurst, you think #05, right? Well, Ben Eggleston not only gets to look after one of Brock's old HRT Commodores, he gets to steer the sister 015 car at the Great Race as well. The Eggleston team boss swings past to discuss the V8 Sleuth Heritage Revival class on the Mountain that will see the on-track return of two classic HRT machines, plus tell the story of Eggleston Motorsport and their incredible talent factory that, among others, has produced Supercars' newest stars like Kai Allen and Cooper Murray.
Then, with Tony Schibeci and Mark Walker on holiday, the great man Matt Naulty drops past to reminisce about some classic Bathurst memories and run through the week's Hot and Not lists.

It's a massive week On the Grid as we break down the massive Toyota announcement as the brand prepares to enter Supercars for the first time as a competing manufacturer. Why it's big news, where they have strengths and everything else. We're also joined by Repco Supercars Championship race director James Taylor, who helps break down the much-discussed Safety Car and Full Course Yellow regulations and why they are always finding ways to make them better - especially in time for the Great Race. That and our usual bout of Hot's and Not's are locked and loaded in this bumper episode of what could be the Oscar Piastri of Australian Motorsport Podcasts, but is probably more like Nico Hülkenberg. Like, we're good enough to be in the big leagues - but it's pretty clear we're never going to win the world title.

IT'S another big show On the Grid this week, as Jack le Brocq swings by to help preview the Sandown 500 this weekend, as he lines up with Jayden Ojeda at Erebus Motorsport. We talk Superbikes from the Island and how their events shape up against those with four wheels, more news discussion and then the usual smattering of the Hot and Not content we know you're here for.

Yes, you read that correctly. This week, thanks to our great mates at City Rural Insurance Brokers, we're giving away a Supercars hotlap at Sandown! All the details are in the pod about how you can enter for an experience of a lifetime. Aside from that big, breaking news, we also dissect the week that was - it was a big one and there are plenty of our usual hots and nots to come from it. But also, Hotlap.
