In this episode, we take a quiet pause to be present with ourselves — noticing where we are, what we carry, and where we’re headed. It’s a moment to slow down, listen inward, and see your life with a bit more clarity and compassion.
Thank you for your presence.

Perimenopause is a real matter, yet one that isn't talked about enough. The many changes taking place in a woman's body, particularly in midlife, are often under researched, ignored, shunned, not discussed, and swept so far under the rug that they become lost in the dark of dust bunnies. Well, this needs to change. It's time we take a look at that which is staring us in the face, and honor ourselves by choosing to investigate the options that exist that will directly elevate and enhance our quality of life. For me, that was getting on the patch; for you, it may be something altogether different. Either way, we need to sit at the table and swap stories. In this episode, I invite us to do just that.

In this episode, we explore the truth that our lives deserve more than a quick fix. So often we reach for instant solutions, hoping to ease discomfort or rush transformation—but what if the real magic lies in slowing down, tending gently to what’s underneath, and allowing growth to unfold in its own time? It’s okay not to rush yourself. It’s okay to need a pause, to name that you’re tired, and to give yourself space to simply be. This conversation is an invitation to honor your own rhythm and remember that the most meaningful shifts often happen in the quiet moments when we finally stop trying to hurry our healing.

Have you ever paused to think about what rests behind your actions, behind the decisions you make that lead to the things that you do? Often, we operate from default behavior, mindlessly doing things without really paying attention to the reasons. When we think about how time is the one thing we do not get back, perhaps we might take stock of why we do the things we do, and make any necessary changes. In today's episode we pause and turn our attention to the underside, that which is below our actions.

Unless we die young we are growing older until eventually older becomes what they call old age. As time passes, we come to realize our body and mind begins to change. Perhaps there are more aches and pains, more forgetfulness or short term memory challenges, and if you are a woman, there are the many layers that come with perimenopause. If you're a man, perhaps there are prostate related matters or erectile changes. These kinds of change aren't always easy, yet are inevitable. How are you meeting the changes of your body as you grow older? If are not yet at the point where you feel you qualify for "older," have you given thought to whom you may become and how you might meet your new self?
In today's episode we take a look at the changes that come with age. We find a path and a practice to meet those changes with both grace and humor, because guess what? It is your life, your body, and mine! These are the changes happening to many, if not most, of us, and it's important that we learn how to be with ourselves at all seasons of our lives. Join me!

In today's episode, we explore the reality that no one is exempt from life’s impermanence. From diagnosis to the instinct to cling to life, we examine the truth of our mortality, the fight to keep living, and the inevitability of death. Through this reflection, we ask: how might remembering our mortality guide us to live with greater intention, depth, and fullness?

Sometimes grief catches us off guard. It sneaks up on us in moments when we come across something that touches a tender spot and reminds us of perhaps something that went missing, a loved one no longer here in physical form, or a deep ache or longing from childhood. What do we do when we have these moments? How do we hold the grief that lingers?
In this episode we pause and turn toward that lingering grief. We give ourselves permission to hold it, to love it, and to extend the grace needed as we realize grief has no end date, but rather shows its face in any moment it so chooses.

We will all experience times when peace seems to elude us, where it feels out there somewhere rather than within. Often, this is the result of our not wanting to experience what is in front of us, or fearing something to come. As long as we turn away when we are to turn toward, or hold tightly to that which we are to hold loosely, we suffer, and our peace fades into the murk of confusion.
Join me today as we look closely at how clinging and aversion create suffering, and how we can practice meeting the present with more presence, which then paves the way for inner peace.
Thank you for being here.

In Buddhism there is great talk on the subject of suffering. In fact, it is behind much of the teachings, and the root of the Buddha's Four Noble Truths: suffering exists, there is a cause of suffering, there is a path out of suffering, and the way of the path out, the message.
In today's episode we look at the cause of our suffering, and how the messages, thoughts, and vexations of our mind lead us more deeply into suffering.

In this episode, we explore how love can be an intentional practice—meeting others where they are, even when their needs differ from our own. Through the lens of impermanence, we reflect on how fleeting life invites us to pause, drop in, and be truly present with ourselves and the people we cherish.
As always, thank you for being here with me.
