  • roommates are not for everyone

roommates, roommates, are not always fun. roommates, roommates, are not for everyone.

to answer your question, no, i have not moved out of my parents house. and i don’t really have a plan on motion… but what i do have is the savings to do so, motivation to be i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t once again, and the mental capacity to thrive in my own space. sadly, with all that comes a price and my excitement alone can’t afford for me to live in the city of my dreams roommate free. so, here i am. discussing my interest in moving, my past roommate crisis, and how the Midwest has spoiled me.

….don’t count me out yet. i will get my dream apartment with no roommates you just wait and see, but for now this is the beginning of my moving journey.

  • i am thankful for. . .

Thanksgiving. it's the one time a year that my family goes around the table and share what we each are grateful for. all jokes, roast, and dramatic on the spot alcohol induced speeches aside, this year I am grateful for...

well, i  guess you're going to have to listen along to hear what I have to say (...see what i did there #thedramatics)

but, in all seriousness, my response may leave your jaw on the floor as I contradict one of my **once** biggest  life stances

  • i can't stop saying the "c" word: covid, one's comfort zone, and change

let’s face it.  as much as we, I, you, me, want to stop talking about covid we can’t. And I believe it’s because a lot of us are still seeing the effects on our lives. Lost jobs, income, identity, and changes galore…

hell take it from me — in 2019, I was a wide-eyed, college graduate, green as ever ready to step into the real world with nothing but some enthusiasm, passion and a few punchlines.

well, that was not the case over this fever dream of a past two years, so lets fast-forward to today, 2022, where I take you down memory lane of the downward spiral i’ve been on all (…in part) due to covid.

  • get your @$$ up & work!!!... or whatever kim kardashian said - finding the balance between work, life and the pursuit of sleep

...there will be a lot of times to come where I don't provide you with the best advice... and you know what it's up to you to take it as a grain of salt or apply it.

this is not one of those times.

in today's episode, i mourn the summer days as they are now numbered, and talk about how i am trying to balance being a good employee, friend, and finding enough time to sleep, which may i add is nearly impossible.

but through hangovers, misfortune and fatigue -- i still manage to make it into work, because guess what... bad b*tches may sacrifice sleep every now and again, but we never EMPHASIS ON NEVER fumble the bag .

so, in the wise words of Miss Kimberley Kardashian: GET YOUR A$$ UP AND WORK!

  • i need a vegas do over - my vegas vacation recap

there’s this only saying that goes “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”, but it’s apparent that I did not abide by those rules.

in todays episode,  i share with you the much awaited Vegas update. from going to bed at 8 pm, to family arguments, and even a blackout this trip was surely one for the books.

listen along to learn why I need a Vegas redo.. and maybe you’ll learn when it will be.

  • two broke cousins take on vegas

look. there’s two kinds of broke. there's the one in which you’re broke and the other being where you have your priories taken care of, but you’re "broke”.

and I can confidently admit, that I am the second broke in this equation. those who get it, get it.

now you know me, i’ve always been one who’s down to clown, but it’s because of this mentality, coupled with my inability to say no, that I often find myself being “broke” —yet rich with memories.

in this episode, i talk with my other “broke cousin” about how we got our name, why we are in Vegas, and let you in on some of our Vegas predictions.
