On Wednesdays, we talk weird

In the 1950's and 1960's, Dr. Thomas Jugarthy Hicks made a name for himself performing illegal abortions in Georgia. Except he wasn't aborting the babies. He was selling them. In this episode, we look into black market babies and the Hicks babies who are still on their journey to finding their truth.  Asherz also gives an update on her progress with her documentary "Synching the Mothman". --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onwednesdayswetalkweird/message

We are extremely lucky to live in such an advanced age. But not every generation had the same blessing. Over the years, people have done some questionable things "in the name of science". Some have even outright tortured people to make the next "big discovery". In this episode, we talk about scientific ethic and public opinion. We talk about several experiments as examples of this gray area.  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onwednesdayswetalkweird/message

This week we go in depth with Cryptozoology. We discuss the differences between Cryptozoology and Fortean studies. We give examples of things that are cryptids, even the "boring" ones and where the gray area is with these creatures. Asherz also dives into her own personal experiences as a cryptozoologist.  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onwednesdayswetalkweird/message

Are bad people born bad? Can we influence major life choices depending on the environment that a child is born in? In this episode, we discuss the age old debate of what influences an individual more, something that they're born with or something that they have learned? We discuss multiple serial killers in this episode as well as a compelling case of unethical experimentation on a child who had a botched circumcision and was "taught" how to live life as the opposite gender. What if I told you that we have irrefutable proof of Bigfoot already and that people have ignored the evidence? On this Wednesday, we dig deep into the Erickson Project and into the authenticity of the original Patterson-Gimlin footage. We talk about the different possibilities for what Bigfoot could be, where it came from, and the different locations of them.

As we dive into a more personal topic, this week we cover sex and relationship dynamics. On this episode, we talk about our personal dynamics and talk heavily about polyamory and different kinks. This episode was more "fun and chit chat" than anything else but we thought that it would be important to get more personal and explain our own viewpoints before delving into extensive talks of other dynamics.  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onwednesdayswetalkweird/message
