"Of Little Faith" takes place in 1960's Long Island, following Laura, a feminist with a surprising desire. This book shows the difference between the counterculture of the times and how some people want to remain in the past. It is a genuine and inspiring story.

“Attention All Passengers” brings to light the shortcomings of the airline industry thanks to Bill McGee, a Consumer Reports Travel Journalist who formerly worked in airline flight operations management. The negative trends of quality and safety examined in this book are incredibly relevant as Bill always writes for the fellow traveler. He is a Consumer Reports Travel Journalist and writes with the intention to inform other consumers accurately and unbiasedly. In his book, he calls for change from the airline industry and the FAA as they conspire to make money without paying the price.

Besides his non-fiction work, Bill also followed a passion to write fiction, more recently, with his book “Half the Child.” This book is the first book in many years to note the difficulties of a custody battle from a father’s point of view. Focusing on a father and son relationship, “Half the Child” takes place over four summers as we observe the highs and lows of navigating life during such a difficult time.

Debbie has written numerous books, articles, and short stories which span many genres, like romance, comedy, the paranormal, and mysteries. She has even won the Cat Writer’s Association Muse Medallion Award for her flash-fiction short story “Sneaky’s Christmas Mystery” which is about Sneaky the Cat solving a shocking town mystery.

“Becoming Herself” is the fictional story of Margaret, an Irish immigrant in upstate New York, who undergoes many challenges but strives for a better life. Margaret fights for herself and this paves the way for her own self-discovery. Dealing with identity challenges at a young age, when she is give-up for adoption, and as she grows, having to balance being a wife, mother, and her own individual person, she continually embraces these challenges with a fighting-spirit.

Maureen Reid’s debut novel takes ideas of ancestry, history, women’s independence, and self-discovery, to new standards. Although this is a work of fiction, the story translates very well in modern times and is very relatable. Maureen discusses her inspiration for writing this book, her own Irish heritage, and her family.
