Join Colette Magnant, MD, FACS Breast Surgeon from Maryland Oncology Hematology live from their Rockville Division as she interviews Plastic Surgeon Dr Kathy Huang. Dr. Huang is known for her honesty and compassion when meeting with patients to discuss their aesthetic or reconstructive goals. She believes that an individualized approach incorporating both surgical and non-surgical options can help her patients achieve the best results, and she approaches each and every case with the highest standards of excellence. As a female surgeon, she is especially sensitive to the changes a woman’s body goes through after having children, during perimenopause, or after chemotherapy.
Colette Magnant, MD, FACS is a highly skilled breast surgical oncologist at Maryland Oncology Hematology. She is board certified in general surgery, specializing in advanced surgical techniques, including skin and nipple-sparing mastectomies and minimally invasive breast conserving surgeries.
After earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Dr. Magnant completed her general surgery internship at Indiana University Medical Center and her residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is the director at the Sullivan Center for Breast Health, as well as an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Magnant has made numerous media appearances and delivered dozens of university lectures.
Dr. Magnant believes in evidence-based, state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary breast cancer treatment.
