One Could Argue that doing what you love for a living is a luxury, which is why the journey can be so difficult yet rewarding. On this episode, Kvle sat with Ndeye Thioubou (Original Content Producer for Genius Media Group) as she shared her journey and opinions on everything from the importance of music videos, college vs. on the job experience, finding a mentor and the art of asking for help by adding value. From learning to confidently fill up space with her voice and ideas to reflecting on the time she was blindsided into photographing Ice Cube, Ndeye shared the encouraging and deprecating moments that helped her grow personally and as a Producer before she knew to call it that. She explained what the Producer role looks like for her now at Genius and how it's challenged her to become a better planner, leader and listener, all through improved communication. While Ndeye is just scraping the surface of her career, she's already hit a few of the pivotal "bumps in the road" that teach the most important lessons to create and maintain success in any field. We appreciate her sharing these stories and thoughts with us and are excited to share it with you all, enjoy!
