Life will always be full of problems that require different solutions for all of us. There's no shame in starting small to find your way out of any of them, even if it's way smaller than everyone else.

Believing in yourself can be incredibly difficult, so other people not believing in you shouldn’t be an absolute deal breaker. Sometimes they need time to see it, just like you.

From there the conversation turns into an all out discussion on every facet of being a creative from workflows to gear, shot lists and getting out of your own way. I never really questioned what it meant to "sell your soul". Have I done it already? Have you? What was the exchange "exactly"? Just a thought. I came to this topic by watching a coversation between Nikki Giovanni and James Baldwin that you've probably seen a clip of on Instagram or Twitter. Why can't we judge a book by it's cover if it's job is to tell us about the book? Maybe we've got this whole thing backwards.
