WrestleMania happened.  That's about the nicest thing I can say about it. With the exception of the Flair/Asuka match and a surprisingly ok showing by Rousey, and an above performance by Rollins/Miz/Balor and Shinsuke and Style, the card pretty much was horrible.  Mixed in with some better than average matches were a bunch of squash matches that saw established talent get put over instead of the upcoming younger talent. In many ways if the WWE was trying anger its fans WrestleMania 34's outcomes would be how you go about it. 

This week we are sounding off on what went wrong at Mania.  On the positive side, we all really loved NXT Takeover and future looks bright when HHH wrests control away from Vince's old ass.

With WrestleMania upon us we decided to review the 1st, 15th and 30th showcase of the immortals. How it has changed over the years. From Mean Gene singing the national anthem off cue cards to the spectacle that was WrestleMania 30 the biggest event in sports entertainment is always evolving. We discuss our favorite and least favorite moments and look back at just how bad the first mania was. 

We also discuss the lead into Mania 34 and what we think will go down on Sunday as well as our Mount Rushmore of WrestleMania Moments. 

This week we are taking a break from talking about the current going ons in the WWE and jump in our flying DeLorean to revisit the Monday Night Wars.  What a time it was. Fora 5 year span from 1996 to 2001 WCW and the WWF went the battle on Monday nights, trying each week to best the other. Not only did it push each company to be as innovative and aggressive as it good be, it pushed the individual wrestlers to be at the top of their game. This real competition, unlike the BS Smackdown/Raw brand split resulted in what is the true golden age of sports entertainment. Whether it was the out of ring promos and storylines or the in ring wrestling, on the whole everything that happened in the Monday Night Wars era was far superior to what we have today. 

I hear the kids who came to wrestling after this era thinking I am just an old guy who thinks everything in his day was better. Well it was, but in this case it really was. Just go back and watch those shows. The cruiser weight matches were amazing, the tag division was full of teams that could be on great matches, unlike today where there are three, maybe four of any value. Wrestling was so good that in his prime The Undertaker wasn't always in the main event picture. 

Lets take a trip down memory lane and if you're not down with that - we got two words for ya!

Daniel Bryan, one of the most over wrestlers in the last decade and half, is back. While all wrestling fans are happy (well most are) we ask on One Fall - should he have come back. Should a man who had severe concussion issues and seizures related to them, return to the ring? Ultimately that is his decision, but you have to wonder if this could for the real person and his family? 

We also discuss last week's Raw and Smackdown episodes and our Mount Rushmore of best and worst finishing moves in wrestling. 

Next week, something new, we review the Monday Night Wars

So Fastlane was certainly better than we were expecting. Not only were the matches for the most part well performed but it opened up new storylines for Wrestlemania. Shinuske vs Styles in still in play and Kevin Owens Vs Sami Zayne is an excellent mid-card match for Mania. 

We also discuss Reigns on air suspension and the rumor it could be a cover for a real failed steroid test as well who ends Asuka's streak. This week's Mt. Rushmore is entrances and there were some controversial picks this week. We wrap this week up with another installment of wrestlers who want to die in the ring and this week's is kind of obvious. 

Fastlane is upon us, the PPV WWE appears to have forgot. Hopefully it will set up storylines leading up to Wreslemania. We also discuss how Wrestlemania is starting to take shape and is starting to look like it will be a decent card.  Speaking of Wrestlemania there is a rumor that Ronda Rousey/Charlotte Flair might headline and main event next years Mania.  One of us feels the woman who headlined UFC for a time can possibly pull that off, someone else does not. 

We finish it up with our Mount Rushmore on the mic - our four best and four worst, as well as the second installment of old wrestlers who want to die in the ring. 

This week on One Fall we recap Elimination Chamber and look ahead to the turd sandwich that is Fastlane. If you have been listening you can guess none of were happy that Roman Reigns won the chamber match and is face Lesnar at Mania, however, dear God did The Big Dog have his best moment ever on mic on Raw the next night. 

We also discuss our Mt. Rushmore of Factions and introduce a new segment - Old Wrestlers Who Want To Die In The Ring

This week we discuss Smackdown and how absolutely unwatchable it is right now despite having talent like Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, New Day, USOS, Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair.  Stop recycling the same matches WWE. 

We also discuss our Mt. Rushmore of faces and heels, as well as a couple off the cuff rants about Fast 9, a possible tag match between Rowdy Ronda/Bron and HHH/Stephanie and exactly how bad Hulk Hogan was an an in ring wrestlers. 

This week on One Fall! we discuss the impending end to split brand Pay Per View events, how the WWE can better use NXT and what mid card wrestlers should get a push to main event status. We also dig into the rumor that HHH might take over day to day operations of the company and what this might mean for the future direction of the product. Finally we discuss our wrestling Mt. Rushmore and who we would place on it. 

This week on One Fall! we discuss Vince McMahon's history of deciding which wrestlers will and will not get over,  apparent reluctance to put African American wrestlers over and insistence that Roman Reigns will be the face of the company.  Topics also include the upcoming Women's and Men's elimination chamber matches, the misuse of Bray Wyatt and how Ronda Rousey will be used and when she will make her in ring debut.
