The Oilers pre-season has begun and the wheels are in motion on the season.

This week the boys broke down early impressions from camp, as well as the hiring of Michael Parkatti as the Senior Director of Data & Analytics and why it's extremely important to the team. (8:05)

Turning over to the NHL, they discussed a multitude of topics including Biosteel's bankruptcy, Michael Andlauder's Senators purchase, the NHL's games in Australia, Connor Bedard's goal total and more. (22:33)

The Oilers have been eliminated from the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs and the moods are sad.

After 15 minutes of banter including Myles ranting about a Sebring and Nolan telling an embarrassing story, the boys finally got into a breakdown of the Vegas-Edmonton series (15:57).

They followed up with an overall season reflection, such as whether the season was a failure, what changes they would make and some early summer targets in free agency (40:41), additionally discussing the Steve Staios GM rumours (1:15:00) and the reactions from locker clean-out day (1:23:15).

Flipping to the NHL, they reacted to the NHL Draft Lottery results (1:31:00) and checking in on the rest of the playoffs (1:43:00).

A nice 2 hour episode should help make up for the delay on the wait.

The Kings are eliminated and a new challenger awaits in the Vegas Golden Knights.

This week, the guys broke down games 5 and 6 including the heroic performances by Klim Kostin and Kailer Yamamoto all while a sense of dread loomed with every goal against (04:18).

Then they previewed the upcoming series against Vegas including some analysis of numbers, playing styles, some potential dark horses and more (29:00).

The series is all tied up at 2-2.

The Oilers, specifically ZMH, saved the boys from a potentially depressing episode, but they pulled through and a fun episode was in order.

After some signature banter, they broke down all four of the Oiler post-season games against the Los Angeles Kings, including the penalty discrepancy, Vilardi's high stick and Hyman's OT heroics. (05:14) Then they recapped some overall thoughts on the Oilers, including the goaltending match-up, the lack of production from key players, some highlights and some lowlights etc. (30:23)

The path to a clinch is getting smaller and smaller.
