The NHL Trade Deadline has come and gone, the race to the finish line is here, and boy, the Oilers are looking pretty good.

After some banter headlined by a very dark hypothetical question posed by Myles, the boys broke down the 4 games against the Leafs, Jets and Sabres. (09:03)

Moving on, they discussed the Oilers new additions in Mattias Ekholm and Nick Bjugstad as well as grading Ken Holland's 4th trade deadline as GM. (49:00)

Flipping to NHL discussion, they talked the big deals from the deadline as well as an extended rant about the Coyotes (1:01:00), as well as some winners and losers (1:21:00).

Just another regular day in Oilerville where the birds are chirping, the team goes 1-2 and a couple of VERY LARGE TRADES HAPPEN.

To start, the boys broke down the stinky week of Oilers hockey that was, minus the 7-2 shellacking of the Penguins, focusing on topics such as:

- The team finally playing well in front of Skinner
- A problematic effort against the Jackets and Campbell's continued struggles
- Connor McDavid reaches 50 goals
- A chat about Kailer Yamamoto

Then to the meat and potatoes, which were the two major moves: one giving a heartfelt goodbye to fan favourite, Jesse Puljujarvi and introducing you to newest Edmonton Oiler and stud defenseman, MATTIAS EKHOLM. Following that, they pondered what next moves Kenny Holland may have up his sleeve including Nick Bjugstad and Jakob Chychrun???

Moving to the broader picture, they talked about the big transactions around the NHL including Patrick Kane's move to Broadway, Kyle Dubas' deadline to remember, the Jets making a low-key but also massive move, and so much more!

A big bummer of a Sunday leaves the boys feeling a little sad Monday night.

After discussing the fallout of the Eagles loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII, they got into what was a .500 but really disappointing week for the Oilers, including a couple of pathetic performances headlined by a 6-2 rout by the Habs. They discussed:

- Sloppy dominance against the Wings and Sens
- Bar television etiquette
- Oilers can't start on time again
- The concerning play of Leon Draisaitl

Following the games they discussed the Chris Johnston bomb dropped regarding the Oilers' interest in Sharks D Erik Karlsson. Naturally this led to a discussion regarding parameters of a potential deal, the fit, the risk/reward factor etc. (spoiler alert it's a good idea)

Then moving onto NHL talk, they discussed topics such as the Tarasenko trade to the Rangers, Crosby's goon phase, Jakob Chychrun in trade limbo and much more!
