One Funnel Away: Stories

Our guest for today’s episode is none other than Klaas van Oosterhout. Klaas is famous for coaching fellow entrepreneurial dads on how to build a successful business without sacrificing quality time with their family. He’s empowering dadpreneurs all over the world to become fearless fathers.

Klaas van Oosterhout stumbled upon his calling due after having a personal family crisis because he used to be an extremely busy entrepreneurial dad himself. He’d work 12-hour days every single week, and he’d often be away during the weekends. And when his gym business shut down, he was forced to move away from his family for six months so that he could still be able to provide for them.

Half a year later, they were finally able to join him. But Klaas sensed he was falling into a familiar pattern. Working crazy hours, long commutes, and barely getting to spend time with his family. He was determined to break his unhealthy habit and put family-time first. 

That is how he first got into the online game, discovered ClickFunnels, and proceeded to build a life that he always wanted. He used his journey, experiences, and stories of personal development to position himself in the dadpreneur community by offering coaching and support for those who are experiencing similar challenges.

For this episode of the One Funnel Away: Stories, I sat down with Craig Beckta, a retired Air Force mechanic turned digital marketer turned online entrepreneur. For quite some time now, Craig has been building up quite a reputation in the world of photography. His impressive following on YouTube can attest to that, currently standing proudly at 82,000 subscribers.

Craig has had lots of experience with digital marketing before joining the One Funnel Away Challenge. After retiring from the army, he built a business relied heavily on SEO and was doing pretty well before a Google algorithm change sank his entire operation. From then on, he went back to his first love - photography.

For years, Craig Beckta was making great YouTube videos and building a sizeable audience in the process. But he ran into some trouble when he tried to create and market his offer. Despite his experience, when he realized he needed help, he wasn’t afraid to go back to the basics and take the OFA challenge. He found himself drawn to the technical side of things, meticulously going through all of the funnel-building resources he could get his hands on.
