The Pelotonia Fellowship Program means more to these young scientists than just the funds to enable their research, or adding a line on their resume. Being selected as a Pelotonia Fellow means that someone believes enough in their work to support them. It's a point of pride. A vote of confidence. This fellowship also includes a community that they know will be there to cheer them on along the way, whether it’s in the lab or on the route during ride weekend.

Kevin McDowell is Olympian who won a sliver medal at the recent Tokyo games. But, he's also a cancer survivor. At a young age, Kevin's health situation threatened his athletic career.
