Finally! We're tackling a Lacey Chabert movie. Plus, it's our first Winterfest movie. And it's the first new movie of 2020. Let's go off to Vail, Colorado together, shall we? We suggest getting some strudel to eat while you listen.

I’m as happy as a cricket here.” Since Greta Gerwig's Little Women just hit theaters, we're jumping on the band wagon and giving you an episode on the 2012 film "The March Sisters at Christmas", which is a Little Women retelling. We really do get excited when these films take classic works of fiction and redo them. “When we make little sacrifices we like to have them appreciated, at least.”

What can we say? We're Jane Austen nerds (just like Hallmark, it seems), so of course we were going to do an episode on this movie that aired on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries on November 30, 2019.

Our first episode about a sequel movie! Yay! Don't worry, we've decided you do not need to have seen or heard of the first movie. All that is important to know is that they are together at the start of the movie. There's no meet-cute, since that happened in movie #1. This is the proposal/engagement movie. This means some of our Hallmark Hallmarks are not really applicable, but that's ok. We still get plenty. This movie originally aired on November 24, 2019. So it's brand spankin' new.

"Marley was dead, to being with." Today we discuss a different ghostly Christmas tale, from 2015, though this one is not nearly as well written. But not all Christmas ghost stories can be A Christmas Carol. Some of them are The Spirit of Christmas.
