How do you know if you’re winning the game of life? Like any professional sport, you've got to keep score. Many of us, myself included, go through life never really taking a moment to reflect on where we've been. The problem? Neglecting to recall those memories, or keep score, we tend to flounder through life blind to the magic of each day. Taking the time at the end of your day to recall the moments you're most grateful for is the best way to ensure that you'll not only go to sleep feeling good, but that life is a beautiful flow... Join me as I explain how this lesson plays out in my own life, as well as, some of the highlights of my most recent trip to Vietnam and Singapore.
This week's episode is an interview I did with Julie Reisler of The You-est You Podcast.
I know Julie from a entrepreneurs group I belong to and from the initial meeting I could tell she was special. Julie's purpose is to help others find their "You-est You" or as I like to refer to it, their truest truth.
In inspiration on so many levels, Julie interviewed me to get under the hood of my coffee company and the journey taken thus far, so that other aspiring entrepreneurs can and learn from my experience.
Enjoy and be sure to checkout Julie at The You-est You Podcast.
Ciao!
We've all had successes in our life. The key is to realize what we did to achieve success, because it is also the key to being successful in all the other areas, such as our relationships, finances, and business.
Join me as I reflect and share the success formula learned from my first physique competition as an amateur bodybuilder. After listening to the entire clip, I invite you to look at the areas of your live and to find your formula. I'm willing to bet that it isn't all that different than mine...
Steve Jobs said, we can only connect the dots lookin backward. Translated, we must trust the journey of life and that it has our best interest. Each of us goes through trials and while it may seem there may not be a way out or a purpose in our suffering, it is only by choosing to accept what we've been given and moving forward despite it, that we can later look back and connect the dots. Life is happening for you. Trust it.
You've likely heard the adage, "do one thing a day that scares you," but what does that even mean and how do you know when you've found that thing? The answer isn't as complicated as you think and it comes with an added benefit: compounding. The more we lean into our fears, the easier it becomes to identifying and breaking through them.
Here is a simple way of identifying that fear or what "the edge" is for you, as well as, a philosophy on how to overcome it. Hope you enjoy and would to hear how you've broken through a fear. Cheers!
Emotions=Life. Our emotions are there to guide us and put our focus to an area that needs our attention. In the end, it is a choice. We get to choose our experience. Enjoy!
If there is one thing that's important for each of us to remember, it's that we are the authors of our lives. While we'll all arrive at the same end destination, the difference is the journey we take to get there and that's up to us.
I believe in imperfect action and so without any formal intro, I introduce One Life Episode 1 - The Journey
