1) The first thing you should skip in פסוקי דזמרא in order to make תפילה בציבור is “מזמור שיר חנוכת הבית” 🎵

2) The next thing you should skip is יהי כבוד 🫡

🕯️ Best thing to light נרות חנוכה is with olive oil 🫒

🕯️🕯️ Shamash doesn’t need to be anything fancy and doesn’t need to be the same thing as the other candles 🕎

🕯️🕯️🕯️ Must be enough oil or long enough wick for Candles to be lit for at least 30 minutes 🕡 after lighting them 🔥

🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️ Set up the מנורה 🕎 with the right most 👉🏻 candle first, and then light from left 👈🏻 to right 👉🏻

-Most important three things to say are: ברוך שאמר, אשרי, and ישתבח 🙌🏻

*If you have more time:*

-Say: the fifth הללוקה, then the 3rd, then the rest of the הללוקהs 🎵

-Then, say from ויברך דוד until ותפארתך 😎

-If you have even more time, say הודו until רוממו 🙏🏻

-Then, מזמור לתודה, then ברוך ה לעולם and then everything else 🙂‍↔️

1) The עיקר of davening with a minyan is תפילה בציבור AKA davening Shmoneh Esrei with a minyan 🔟

2) Therefore, there are allowances to skip certain parts of פסוקי דזמרא to make sure you daven Shmoneh Esrei with a minyan ⏯️

-If your davening alone then you should daven it all straight through (unless you would miss סוף זמן קריאת שמע) 🧏‍♂️

-If you’re so late that you won’t make תפילה בציבור even if you skip, than you shouldn’t skip ❌🏃🏻

1) Every single word of פסוקי דמרא needs to be said with שמחה and slowly 🎵😁

-the reason is because פסוקי דמרא is there to bring you to a place of ביטול before Hashem and it has the power to destroy the klipah

2) Its אסור to hold something in your hands that can disrupt your kavana ❌ 🍽️💸

-Because, you might be worried that they will fall

*Things that you CAN 👍 say during פסוקי דמרא:*

☑️ If you go to bathroom during פסוקי דזמרא, you should say אשר יצר

☑️ If you get called up to the Torah, then you can take the aliyah

▶️ But, you ideally לכתחילה shouldn’t call someone up to the Torah while he is davening פסוקי דזמרא

*Things that you CAN 👍 say/answer during פסוקי דמרא:*

☑️ Can say אמן to a bracha, even if your in the middle of a Pasuk (as long your not in the middle of a certain idea)

☑️ Can answer אמן יהא שמיה רבא of kaddish

☑️ Can say קדושה but CAN’T say the first line of נקדש

☑️ Can say מודים דרבנן

☑️ Can say the first pasuk of שמע with the ציבור

*Things that you CANT 👎 say during פסוקי דמרא:*

✖️Can’t say ברוך הוא וברוך שמו at all

✖️Can’t say בריך הוא during kaddish

1) The bracha of ברוך שאמר was instituted as the opening bracha of פסוקי דזמרא when the אנשי כנסת הגדולה found a note from שמים containing the words of ברוך שאמר 🌅🗒️

2) Its אסור to speak between ברוך שאמר and ישתבח ❎

-The point of פסוקי דזמרא is to destroy the יצר הרעs that are coming to steal your תפילהs. So if you speak, then they’ll be able to come and take your תפילהs 😈👹

-so DONT SPEAK ❌🗣️
