🥛 For decades #milk producers told us that "Milk does a body good" and how important calcium is. #sales declined.
⁉️ Then they asked a simple two-word question.... Got Milk? Apparently, America didn't and sales increased during the 2-decade campaign.
👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 Like Dr Phil said "It's not about YOU", the best #marketing is about the audience, so make it about them, ask questions, and WIN.

🗣This is a quote attributed to Dorothy Parker and something Steven Shepard talks about on his podcast "The Natural Curiosity Project".

💭 I always thought there was something wrong with me, because if something didn't sound right I had to look it up. It has led to me being wrong and right and I am more than OK with that.

💡If we all had a little more curiosity, the ability to be proven wrong, our nation would be in a much better place.

🎣 For me it was when we went salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, I asked why there are salmon in the great lakes. I was told that they had always been there.

😯 It didn't sound right, and it was not.... go find your own fish story!

When it comes to life, if you only hear one voice, only read one book, or listen to one set of opinions you are cut from one cloth. You never gain a #diversity of #knowledge.

When you listen (notice I didn't say agree) to many voices, read a lot of books, and solicit real opinions you start to gather threads.

Now you can discard some of those threads, and not weave them into your tapestry. However, you will use way more than you throw away.

Go out in this world, gather threads, and start to weave together your life in a beautiful #tapestry.

To tolerate literally means to not agree with something yet allow it without interference. People think I have an everlasting optimism because I love and accept everyone. I do accept a lot of people, however I tolerate far more opinions than I agree with. Now there are some things that we should not tolerate (slavery, women not being equals to name a few) that we have corrected. Most things that bother you shouldn't, so tolerate, its the American Way!
