Kat Elizabeth is an Australian actor turned personal branding coach & brand strategist. After what she calls her "quarter life crisis" back in 2013, due to crippling anxiety and depression she decided to quit her dream job as a performer in commercial musical theatre and her life promptly fell apart. Divorce, bankruptcy and nearly dying followed. Having rebuilt her life, today she's on a mission to help other humans build profitable personal brands of their own so they can ditch their soul-sucking 9 to 5s (which occasionally happens to be their own businesses!). Between her coaching and online courses, she teaches her clients how to increase their visibility, become known as the experts in their niche, and attract an audience of clients prepared to pay for their expertise. Kat’s also the host of the Seen Heard Paid podcast & a self-titled YouTube channel.

Troy Knight was member of the Royal Australian Airforce and was one of the first Airmen to pass 2nd Commando Regiment selection and to serve with what was at the time a new Special Forces unit, the elite 4 Squadron Combat Controllers
Troy Knight’s mates know him as ‘Norm’ or ‘TK’. Born in 1977 to a single mother, Troy grew up as what he describes as a ‘typical Queensland boy’ enjoying surfing, playing rugby league and generally looking for mischief. It was Troy’s boundary pushing and risk taking that fuelled his thirst for adventure and made him walk into the Townsville Defence Force Recruiting office in 1999, just after the East Timor crisis had kicked off. Deflated at being told that Army Recruit training was bottlenecked for eight months, Troy was stopped by an Air Force Sergeant who asked if he knew about the RAAF Airfield Defence Guards. It was this sliding door moment, that would see Troy subsequently travel to Afghanistan, Iraq and beyond and become one of Australia’s first Combat Controllers in the Australian Special Forces.

“Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face”. Tiffanee Cook has learned this as a business woman, performance coach and boxer; from the comfort, predictability and safety provided by the corporate world, to the lessons and let-downs in and out of the boxing ring. Coming to the realisation that, in order to have one’s hand raised in triumph, adversity, discomfort and combat must be navigated. In the face of the messiness of life, do we fight or do we flee? Tiffanee speaks openly of her own personal experiences (good and bad) and how those experiences have enabled her to develop self-awareness, resilience, courage, independence and the skill to be able to maximise passion, possibilities and potential. She talks about getting knocked down (literally and metaphorically) and what it is that makes some of us get back up and some, stay down. Working in business, sport, high performance and personal development, Tiffanee explores a range of ideas, tools, skills, resources, philosophies and strategies to empower individuals, teams and organisations to improve everything from productivity, efficiency, culture and communication to physical, mental, emotional and social health.”

Derrick McManus was shot 14-times in less than 5-seconds and lay on the ground for 3-hours before extraction. This is his story.
Derrick was a South Australian Police officer for 42 years. 10 years with the STAR (Special Tasks and Rescue) Group and within this group he was a Sniper, Tactical-Diver and Counter-Terrorist operative. Trained in handling hostage/siege situations, high-risk arrests, cliff/cave/mine rescue, helicopter operations; as he puts it, all the interesting and exciting stuff (his mum sees it differently). Derrick finished his career teaching leadership at the Police Academy. As part of STAR Group – His team went to arrest an offender, who clearly did not want to be arrested, he started shooting and Derrick was in the line of fire. He was hit 14 times with a .308 calibre in less than 5 seconds. Sustaining massive injuries and lay on the ground for 3-hours before the rescue team and medical team risked their lives to get him out. 2.5 years of intensive rehabilitation and eventually returned to full duties with STAR Group.
Derrick now speaks at conferences and facilitates Human Durability workshops internationally. His research includes collaborations with The University of South Australia School of Psychology and The Military and Emergency Services Health Australia. Derrick contributes was the power of thinking about returning home to his children that is one of the reasons he survived.

David McGowan is a former Victorian Police officer with 21 years experience (1979 – 2000) which included a stint in Carlton CIB as a detective cutting his teeth on house burgs, s3x offences and fraud – one of the most notable cases was the Foodplus b0mbing where a competitor literally tried to blow up the opposition. After the CIB, in 1988 David was invited into the Armed Robbery Squad, working on some really high profile cases like recapturing a prison escapee and convicted bank robber. During these years it also included the tragedy of the Walsh Street police murd3rs and the capture and then subsequent loss of one of the most prolific bank robbers of modern era (19 banks). (He got in trouble for the latter but they did recapture him). Before his police career ended, he was promoted to Richmond station as a Sergeant -and then to Malvern CIB as a Detective Sergeant until leaving the force in 2000 to work for a bank managing the Group Investigations function - responsible for investigating employee corruption across 31 countries –and established investigations teams in NZ, PNG, Fiji, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore. Stating that it had more general crime there than he dealt with in Victoria Police – murd3rs, drug trafficking, slav3ry, gun running, theft, corruption, fraud etc…
In 2020 David joined the Police Veterans as CEO and has spent last 12 months developing the organisation looking after all police veterans and recognises the sacrifices and PTSD trauma many members have experienced. It is a not-for-profit and although is Victorian based there is currently an unfulfilled demand for this service nationally.

Tommy Burke started out in television as a production assistant while working other odd jobs, from bar bouncer, golf caddy to factory assemblyman, to supplement his meager TV industry income. He soon became the go to guy of production assistants in Boston, working almost every motion picture produced in Massachusetts. After a move to Los Angeles in 1990, Burke quickly moved up the production ranks, working as First Assistant Director on an independent film with Johnny Depp. Burke went on to secure Assistant Director credits including, Jerry Bruckheimer’s acclaimed TV series Skin, Close to Home, CSI Miami, and the pilot for Desperate Housewives. His last credit was five years of the TV series, Chicago PD.
In 2003, Burke was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Three years of doctor visits, nine operations and chemotherapy treatments were all included in part of his rigorous 14-hour shoot day routine. To no one's surprise, given his well known tenacity, Burke conquered the disease into remission.
Now, he faces his most challenging health problem of all, Parkinson’s. Tommy has penned a book Not Just Sunglasses and Autographs is available on Amazon [and via order anywhere books are sold].
