Tommy Smith is 'one of our own'. Smith is a former Watford striker and played at the club over two different spells (1997-2003 & 2006-2009). After making his debut in 1997 at just 17, he went on to become Watford's top goalscorer under Gianluca Vialli in 2001/02 and scored crucial goals in the FA Cup run the following season.

Smith rejoined the club in 2006 after the club's promotion to the Premier League and was Player of The Season in 2007/08 and 2008/09, securing over 300 appearances for Watford.
