Welcome back to One of us is Board! We had a small burnout break, but we're now back with Ratatouille (2007) as part of our "Pixar films that Calum never bothered to see before now" month. A half-assed name for a half-assed month! This episode is possibly us at our best as we butcher some French accents, ramble about food and drift in and out of the plot in a tired daze. 

Make sure to join us next week as we do the same to Wall-E (2008), but without the bad French accents. Probably. 

Alas, we have reached the end of Judy January. We knew you guys would be sad about it so we delayed our episode on Judy (2019) so you could savour every last moment of it. It was a deliberate choice we made so that the Ashanti reference in the episode was made even more special. There's no laziness or procrastination to be found here. Anyways, join us as we discuss the triumphant return of two stars, the diva moments we've had to suffer through and Renée Zellweger's well deserved Oscar.

You can't have a Judy Garland month without including A Star is Born (1954). Well, you could, but it would suck and everyone would get mad at us. We can't have that as we crave only positive attention and adoration, much like the male lead of the this weeks film! We actually got a taste of what our listeners get. As a result of the film being somewhat hacked at and then awkwardly patched together; the first thirty minutes are super confusing. Well, if you can brave that sort of treatment, dear listener, so can we.

Welcome back to Judy January! This week we watched Meet Me in St Louis (1944) and had a very twee time. Now, we know what you are all wondering. Yes, the title song lies. It's Lewis, not Looie; don't worry, we checked. We try very hard to not look like a pair of fuds on this show. Often, we fail. However, in this instance we managed to get that one fact super right. Join us as we discuss Barney the Dinosaur's musical repertoire, why we love himbos and the horrific thoughts of psychotic children (not us).

What better way is there to start off 2022 than to binge a bunch of Judy Garland films? Welcome back to One of us is Board, the professionally unprofessional film podcast obsessed with themed months. We kick off our first show of the year with The Wizard of Oz (1939). You do, admittedly, have to listen to a twenty minute ramble about an unfortunate and traumatic childhood production of the text to get the film chat. BUT stick with it listener, as you are rewarded with an amazing promise for the future near the end. Glinda the Bad Bitch of Oz is going to be the ultimate fanfiction (possibly the next 50 shades of grey), so watch this space and help bully Calum into writing it in its full.

No edits at Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason. We watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) many weeks ago now, but December is not a good month for editing podcasts. Nonetheless, you still have time to enjoy some holiday films with us. Maybe you're hoping we will be our grouchy selves and crap all over the festivities and the films that come with them. Well, dear listener, we are sorry to disappoint.
