Welcome back! This week we watched Cats and Dogs (2001) and the podcast went some weird places. This was to be expected. The film is a James Bond parody using cats and dogs, after all. It's wild that this exists and still has some sequels being produced. Lots of important discussions feature in this episode, for example, we debate as to whether Australia really exists. It's worth a listen for that alone, surely. If nothing else it gives you an indication as to how dire the UK's geography education standard is. For the record; we're team dog all the way.

This week we watched Jumanji (1995) and decided it would be fun to take this beloved classic and deliver the most chaotic review possible. No joke. While this is objectively an awful review of Jumanji, it is a fantastic insight into how our minds work. Perhaps this should have went out as a Halloween episode. It's genuinely sounds like we gave a pair of five year olds a shot of espresso and making them stay up past their bedtimes. So, good luck dear listener. Happy Halloween, Listener! This week we watched Dracula (1931) and thus concludes our Very Spoopy Halloween. To those who managed to stick with it, congratulations. You are far braver than many. So, does our Halloween specials end with a bang or a whimper? Or does it end with a pile of hate mail as we diss a classic? Who knows. You'll have to listen to find out. Although the official month of horror has ended, for you dear listener, it will only get worse. We've chosen something truly diabolical for next week.

It's possibly really fortunate that the film is in black and white. What are we talking about? Just look at the poster. Questionable. Arguably though, our review of this film is just as questionable as the film, so you have that to look forward to.

Welcome to our very Spoopy Halloween Month! Be sure to listen with a friend and secure your mobile device as Frankenstein (1931) is peak spoopy. Why did we choose to watch it? Well, neither of us have seen it; despite being film graduates. We also didn't know what to do for Halloween, so we stole a list off IMBD and hoped for the best. Did it pay off? Heck yeah! Spoiler alert; this film and this episode is a blast, but do bear with us as we get all the names wrong. To be fair, they've named Frankenstein, Henry, and have given his best friend his original name. It's confusing! Why film? Why? The spoopiest part of this whole thing is the unusual amount of positivity and enthusiasm. Who'd have thought all it'd take to make Calum happy was watching a kid being unceremoniously chucked in a lake?

Oh gang. This week we suffer through Red Dot (2021). What can we really say other than. Well. Yeah. We suffer. Join us as we discuss bears in Sweden and horrific things happening to horrific people. One thing this film does have going for it, is the most elaborate revenge plot seen since Saw. Thankfully for the bad guy, the millions of things that have to go right for this to work, do. Unfortunately, that means we have sit through this. We'd much prefer a black comedy about a villain who is a bit crap. Oh well.
