Today we watch Super Mario Bros. (1993) because Reel Deep Dives decided we should suffer. Well, I say we. Calum suffered. Sam had a great time watching a bizarre cinematic sci-fi take on a video game that largely doesn't have any sci-fi elements. This is another one of those episodes where we watched it so you don't have to. So, join us as we point you towards the clips you should search on YouTube, because *spoiler* the film is weirdly boring considering it's about a dinosaur alternative universe.

Continuing on with our Video Game Adaptation Month, this week we watch Resident Evil (2002). If you're a big fan of the game series, well, honestly we wouldn't recommend you watch the movie. Listen to us watch it and then you don't have to. Resident Evil is full of treats such as ineffective zombies, strange video game acting, boob and the most horrifically scary AI character we've ever seen. This is a film that only Calum is allowed to mock, so keep that in mind if you decide to watch and do your own review.

Today dear listener, we kind of watch Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020) but mostly rant about the most recent actual Eurovision. Yeah, no points for us for keeping on topic and also because we're in the UK and Europe hate us. Fear not people of the UK, for Calum and Sam have a plan that will get us at least twenty points. So in Scotland, Braveheart (1995) is seen as a meme. Most us haven't watched the film in it's entirety, instead we just embrace watching the infamous 'freedom' speech played over and over at various sporting events. Join two Scots as they break the most sacred of rules and they watch all three hours (three hours?!) of Mel Gibson as William Wallace. If you're an American who really wants to embrace your Scottish roots, I'd give this one a miss.

Today we argue, we laugh, and we cry as we watch the Pixar film that deserved way better, Onward (2020). Not to toot our own horn, but this is genuinely a great episode, mostly because the film is super great (toot-toot). Instead of discussing our faves spitting on us, we fondly reminisce about our biggest argument in an era where life was easy and covid was something relegated to a sci-fi movie.
